The breaded cheese and walnut with tomato jam was wonderful and the papanasi was the best that we have had in Romania. The vegetarian options were OK, but nowhere near up to the standard of the meat dishes that our friends had ordered, which they were saying was the best meal they had eaten in Transylvania. What made this meal, however, was the excellent service that we received from our waitress, Cristina. She ensured that we had everything we needed and wanted for nothing. This service really made this restaurant stand out from others that we have visited.

Nice meal. Relaxed atmosphere.

Came here for a family meal with our 17 year old on our last night in Rasnov. A really nice relaxed atmosphere. I had the pork “Promenada”, my wife had a chicken stew, my son (every so adventurous) had a pizza! We all had a nice meal although the portions are HUGE (be warned if you’ve got a small appetite). Puddings were delicious. What I liked most was the mix of diners. Couples, groups and a load of families with small children who could also relax because no one cared that the kids made noise (just let them enjoy themselves!) All in all a really nice restaurant with good food & great staff.

Amazing food and relaxing atmosphere

We were on a long family trip and we were hungry and worn out. Cristina, our server, was patient, helpful, and friendly. The food was outstanding. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave. There is a lovely park for kids too. If you eat outside you feel like you’re in a national park. We will definitely eat here again.

Totally disappointed. Never again

We ordered different types of food from this restaurant and all of them disappointing. The pizzas were rubbish (cold, small, with few ingredients on top, looking like those that were served in a 90’s old bar), the french fries were at least 2 days old and the meat specialties were just thrown in the plastic container, like it was a dog’s meal (though if you love your dog, i m sure you would’ve got it a nicer meal). It was a mockery towards us as clients.

Bad food and small portion

We were a group of friends and ordered different types of food. Everything was terrible, tasted bad, even though we paid the sauce they did not send it. The pizza is verry small, not at all 480g how they said. Bad food bad service. Do not recommend

Cold, oily potatoes, horrible wait times.

Came here because it was recommended and it had rather good reviews. We had several issues, the wait times are insane. 1h for basic foods is absurd. (roast potatoes and grilled chicken). It is clear that they have no basic knowledge on how to organize a kitchen. Also, when the food arrived the potatoes were cold, hard, and oily. They were supposed to be roasted in the oven. Sigh. Besides potatoes, we have ordered grilled fish and chicken. They were mediocre at best. I would say to avoid this place, especially if there are more than 3-4 tables of occupancy, they cannot handle such volumes it seems.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience!!! I will never get back to the restaurant and I would advise to avoid it. The employees are not ready for this job. I was waiting for a menu, I didn’t receive one and I had to get it from another table, no one came for the order and I went to tell them what I would like to order. The waitress start complaining that she got 11 tables and she does not have the time to get another order. I complained to the manager without any resolution. I went into the city center and I had a decent food. I will never get back to them. Terrible!

It is a place that I would reccomend for those that search an intimate place. The restaurant is very nice,they have good food and you can pay with cash or card. The location is near the forest, if the weather is fine you can also take a walk in there.

MENU has a very diverse selection for everyone's taste buds. Very good food (tried hummas vegetarian dish, beef goulash, pasta, pizza and angus beef), also the profiteroles and some cocktails, excellent service, piano being played live, large play area for the children. Place heated up so wear very light clothes if you plan a meal there. Place was so good we visited 3 times when we stayed in Rasnov for a week.

We went 2 years ago and the food was great and also the prices, but this year when we went we were very disappointed. The service was good but the food Ciolanul did not raised at half of the one from 2 years ago, very hard , the snitel without any taste and the red cabagge awefull. Kids pizza mickey was good. Also in the kids playground indoor , there were let in a lot of kids >10 years which according to the playground policy should not be let in. They stamped on the smaller kids, they were of course without parents, was an additional stress for us. We could not wait to go there, but we will not doing that, high prices, medium /bad food.

Worth the detour!

Non-stop service from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. parking for trouble-free parking before or after visiting Bran Castle. Typical but fine cuisine, delicious! Excellent Transylvanian soup and papanasi to die for! In addition, you can order just one, more than enough after a hearty meal. The house's organic white wine sold by the glass is excellent, very fruity. Keep in the right addresses!

Awfull food. Cold , ciorba cold, mici cold, pizza just looks like made in microwave, nice kids playground, staff around 60 of them arogant, talking with ya like they own the place, rest of them quite polite,, really nice location but i do not recommend food! Maybe i was unlucky but from 4 different types of food ordered 3 of them were cold.

Passing through Rasnov, we stopped in this place following a search for a restaurant with an excellent quality-price ratio. I must say that it fully met expectations. We had two soups, very good, a salad and pastrani with polenta. Super abundant dishes, friendly staff. Advise.

Nice place with an old school look, service was quick and good. Food tast i can say it was very good and as well as the drinks. The only thing i can give as recommendations to take care more about the coffee and desert after the meals needs to improve a bit.

Great food and staff

High quality food, they brought our order very quick. Very nice staff, always there to serve and help. My 4 year son loved the restaurant not only because of the food but because they had 2 plăcea to play, inside and outside. Highly recommended
