Tawerna Kaper is so close to the lake you can almost jump in from you room! Wonderful service from all the staff. Great variety of affordable food and drink. Cost includes a magnificent buffet breakfast. We will be back next year for sure!

We went for a meal place where view is opposite biggest lake in Ilawa, unfortunately after we got menu where pictures of food not matching real portions and quality of food where we was serving mash potatoes from yesterday plus little size pork,give my side...not much food to eat for 50 zl only not give one point in scale because when we ask if beer is actually from draft waitress was move she's head down what we understand that was mean yes, we not recommended for future someone who can lost and think to try food in this place.More

Been here many times, and the spot by the lake is beautiful and cosy every time! Medium/high pricing is acceptable since portions are very large and also astes very well.. The lady very happy for the Cesar salad ordered, while the writer ate a meat...dish (nr 3 - Grillowane...).. Also had desserts and kawa mrozona ++ there and will visit it again many times more..More

Very promising location and look. Unfortunately menu card is outdated and it was a embarrassing to find out that most of our choices were not available. The standards of available food (we ordered żurek, pierogi and sandacz with mushrooms, rice and traditional polish salads) were...far below expectations of traditional, quality, fresh Polish cuisine. The service was the same. Rather to be avoided.More

Nice restaurant part of a hotel ,polish traditional country style . There are beautiful views of the lake from there . The food is very good ,especialy the borsht,also the dumplinggs and meat . Large portions very cheap , recommended

Very nice and reasonably priced. Good food. Chicken pasta delicious and spinach and cheese ravioli was cleaned off plate. Highly recommended.

While the service tries to be friendly, they're wildly unprofessional. We (4 ppl) ordered one dish each and got the in 5 min intervals each. The food is average, at best. The prices are too high for this quality.

A super restaurant. The service was attentive, the wine list more than adequate (and the wine more than drinkable) and the food we ordered was excellent. My only negative feeling (and this applies to most of Poland) is that were no wines from central Europe...or Germany. But definitely worth a visit.More

We spent 3 nights in Ilawa, eating at a different Restaurant each night. Tawerna Kaper is a little jewel, serving up the best food (The Herring Starter was the best I have ever tasted) and the Steak Tartar my partner had (which is her favourite)...was the best she had tasted. It is by far the best value for money Restaurant in the beautiful town of Ilawa and a must visit for anyone.More

We found this little place on the first day in Ilawa and came back two more times. The food, as judged by my very experienced Polish diners in my party, was excellent. The traditional favorites such as pierogi, zurek and barszcz were top notch. The...salads were fresh and the meat dishes tasty. An English menu helped those not fluent in polish. The outdoor terrace area looked over the lake and was well shaded. The interior dining area was a traditional tavern. Service was quick and attentive with professional waiting skills of a high standard. Parking available right next to the tavern. A playground for kids is next door and it is a short walk from the shopping mall.More
