We met Chef Nelly when she invited us into the restaurant for shelter from the rain as we were curiously checking out the menu while coming back from the beach. We made reservations for the next evening and were floored by the dishes we experienced....Top that off with incredible jazz musicians & phenomenal service & the venue itself is spectacular. Best place in the "Holetown", pun intended & there are quite a few great places to dine in this area.More

Had an awesome evening at the Mews, delightful service, delicious food , however the highlight of the evening was Jeremy in the piano bar. A super talented musician. We enjoyed listening to him for several hours after dinner, most restaurants close early, however the Mews...was still rocking at past midnight. We meet some lovely people and can’t wait to returnMore

Always our first stop. Great drinks, fabulous food and live music most nights. We always love the Blackened catch of the day. Shrimp to start. Booked for next week too.

The Mews provided a perfect evening. The rain was pouring down for the entire evening but we received the most charming welcome at this elegant and delightful venue. We were greeted by the owner, Chris, and after shaking off our umbrellas had a delightful time...with a perfectly crafted, ice-cold martini made with Perkins & Sons sugar can Barbados Gin proving that the area is not all about rum, delicious though the rums are too! The food was sublime and it was rare for me, as a vegetarian, to eat food that was as delicious as it was beautiful to look at. I had an aubergine dish that was succulent. My companion reports that the prawns followed by lamb shank were excellent. Puddings were good but less perfectly constructed than the starters and main courses, though they looked gorgeous. After dinner, the bar on the ground floor fills with people enjoying the cocktails. A fabulous evening topped by the rain finally ceasing! Highly recommended.More

We had heard about this restaurant and it’s amazing service, food, and entertainment, so it was great to finally experience it. And it did not disappoint! Friendly staff, shout out to Stephen, 😁 welcoming vibe, amazing food and then there is Jeremy …. Fabulous! The...night we went he had two other musicians to make up a little trio and the music was excellent. This piano bar/ restaurant is a definite one when planning your Barbados vacation. It’s a bit like Hotel California…. You check out but just cannot seem to leave! We’ll be back! 🙂🤗More

We had a seat on the balcony overlooking the street which is a great spot for watching the comings and going’s. The food is ok, menu is a bit limited but entertainment is thrown in as there is a piano bar so definitely worth a...visit. There is also a DJ later some nights.More

Nice venue, friendly staff, but food was ordinary - tasted like it had been left under lights for a while and was dry. Not "I want a discount", but ordinary.

Outstanding. The seared tuna starter is Michelin level. Stunning. Well balanced flavour. The staff excellent - very focused and attentive. Lovely chilled vibe and clientele. We felt relaxed and yet well looked after with no hassle factor. We had the table on the balcony which...was awesome, if you can get it take it. Just makes the dimension of the place put into another level. My partner had the scallops. “Best she’s ever had”. For main we had the lamb which was “sublime” and the mahimahi; again delicious. Can’t fault it. Value wise was very good value. Service, impeccable. Better than some places in London. A true credit to Holetown and Barbados. So much so we are going back for another time as our final dinner this holiday.More

Had yet another first class experience at The Mews last night. The blackened Mahi Mahi was top notch and the tenderloin steak to die for. Lovely staff and excellent service. Have booked again for next Tuesday!!

Eaten here twice in the last two weeks. Have been going to the mews for 16 years and never disappointed. The food was lovely and served on piping hot plates. Great entertainment with a nightly singer/pianist lovely touch. Has recently been upgraded and looks really...great. Highly recommend which I don’t say often. Steve and Chris are great hosts. Pleasant balcony table setting, very friendly service and varied menu which seemed to be a mix of Italian & Caribbean plates. Food presentation was good but we thought some dishes lacked a bit flavour. Enjoyable evening but not sure we would return as the food...& menu weren’t tempting enough to warrant another visit during our short holiday.More
