Always like having drinks in the bar. It might be your first time or your fiftieth time , the welcome and charm doesn’t change. Dinner on the Balcony with a view of the street is always a pleasure. Fish was unctuous and service marvellous. Can’t...wait to be backMore

A great townhouse style property in the mix of restaurants in hometown. We had a largish table of 7, mixed family and friends and great table location. Live DJ was playing that evening downstairs, great food, nice venue, reasonable prices. Relaxed atmosphere

Had a delicious meal here as we sat at the outside table on first floor balcony (we were a party of 6). Had a great evening, friendly service & delicious fresh food.

We visited the Mews twice during our stay in Barbados. After our first visit we wanted to return. The restaurant is not large but the tables are well spaced out and the walls are adorned with local art which can be purchased. On our second...visit we sat on the small front balcony and enjoyed watching Holetown residents passing by. On both visits the food was excellent, of fine dining standards. One of the few places where we felt that some dishes represented genuine Barbadian cooking. Attentive service, even on the slightly remote balcony. All in all a very enjoyable restaurant for both ambiance and foodMore

Excellent restaurant in Holetown. The service was exceptional. Had the best seats in town outside on the balcony area. Would definitely recommend going as the food is locally sourced. The owner also came out to chat to us about our visit and Barbados. Hopefully we...will go again on this holiday.More

Wow! This well established boutique restaurant in the centre of eclectic Holetown was always a cut above the rest, but on our recent visit it’s cooking has left the likes of Cliff and even Daphne’s, just distant memories in the rear-view mirror! If the excellence...had stopped after one of best seafood chowders that I have ever eaten, then I would have left a happy man, but it did not. The lamb shank, with its exquisite sauce and perfectly cooked mash and vegetables, was simply the best I have ever eaten, by a considerable margin. The service by Lebon was exemplary. The linen, cutlery and crockery equal to anything Sandy Lane may have on offer. The bill for one starter, two mains, one desert, a bottle and a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon, plus an inferior cup of powdered decaf’ coffee, was £150.00 (Sterling); by no means inexpensive, but good value. Go soon.More

The place has a great atmosphere and the food was good. We sat upstairs very nice. We had a wonderful young man as our server and he made the dinner even better.

Probably our best dinner since we arrived ten days ago-we have been to Lone Star, Daphnes and others. My husband loved his red snapper. Very friendly wait staff.

We love the Mews and visited it twice this trip with friends. The Mews uses a great deal of locally sourced ingredients in preparing its local style dishes. The food is consistently very very good, the atmosphere is friendly, and the service is excellent.

We had a very enjoyable visit to The Mews, and will definitely return on our next trip. We arrived on a Saturday evening without a booking so were a bit tentative as to whether we'd get a table. Upon arriving we walked into the downstairs...Cocktail Bar where the staff were busy making up their cocktails, but not too busy to attend us and find us a table for the evening. Having not booked, we probably lost out on one of the better tables which can be found in a variety of different rooms and balconies throughout the premises, but that said we were still more than happy with our table position at the top of the stairs. The dinner menu was more than ample with plenty of choices - my wife and I found ourselves struggling to choose with so many delicious options. There is also a very extensive wine list with many quality wines, as well as plenty of choice at the lower end of the price scale. Our starters of prawns and salad and then the mains of Lamb and Prawns were all excellent and could not be faulted, as well as great service from our waiter. Later in the evening we were visited by the owner, who was interested to hear if we had enjoyed our experience and took time to tell us a bit more about the restaurant and cocktail bar. We very much enjoyed our evening and just wish we hadn't run out of time to go back during the holiday. Until next time......More
