Four levels of quaint, imaginative decoration with wonderful views of Taormina. Almond wine in souvenir glass is fun too.

Great place, friendly staff. Great views. Worth a visit. Do it, you'll love it. You can get to Castelmola by bus, car or taxi for 25 Euros.
crear funny place. Nice atmosphere and service. No problem to bring my quite energetic 4 yo. The small village is super beautiful.
In a beautiful square next to a beautiful church in a hill top village in Sicily is the last place you would expect to find a very quirky bar which pays homage to the male member, the penis! Over four floors sitting on the balconies...you get stunning views of the square the village the wider coastline of this stubbing part of the island Everywhere you look over the four floors are penis door handles , lamps, images in tiles, statues it’s historical The attention to detail is , well, phallic. Staff are very friendly and very attentive even though it’s very busy Had a beer and a pizza, was very nice and not over the top cost wise Dont loose the koo unless you have a good dense of humor the cock and ball taps are hysterical Please visit, please smile, Life's too short not to visit places like thisMore

Yummy food and surprising decor. It is worth a visit. Castelmoro is a stunning town high up in the mountains above Taormina, and Bar Turrisi is a must-see restaurant.
I read about this before travelling and thought it would make a funny surprise from my girlfriend for lunch one afternoon. When I checked the location I thought it might be too much of a pain to get to. When I saw Castelmola from below...I thought I might need a helicopter to get to it. Then I discovered the Hop On/Off bus takes you there so off we went. On arrival the shock on her face was hilarious and it got better as we wandered around the floors to find a table on the 3rd balcony. Inside the views were funny, outside they were amazing. Everything is obviously themed about one thing, from the menus to the table clothes, the tiles to the mirror, the door handles to the lampshades. It was stupidly hot on the day we went so we had water, beers, and two very nice tuna salads, we also opted for the 'house shots' to get the free glasses (these were horrible by the way). They dropped a star as the service wasn't the smoothest (missing drinks off the order) but the staff were friendly and efficient considering all the different floors. They must have good leg muscles with all the steps they do, up & down all day. They asked us to pay downstairs and there was a bit of a queue. Probably due to being a bit understaffed maybe. Whilst there we treated ourselves to a bottle of Almond Wine. All in it was 70 euros so quite pleased with that as we were there for a relaxing hour and a half, probably more. Extra note: you get a free shot of almond wine and a 10% card when you take the Hop On/Off bus which brought our bill down.More
Pretty restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff; with the waiter even going out of his way to find his English speaking colleague to explain why Castelmola is so obsessed with penises 😂 The pizza was delicious, as was the pina colada I had, along...with the free almond wine taster we got with our hop on hop off bus tour. You can sit and take in the gorgeous surroundings.More
Ate dinner here while staying in Castelmola. Had been here before in 2005. The views from the upper floors are terrific. The staff is a mix of helpful and not so. The atmosphere, views, food and drink was worth the visit. I enjoyed a Calice...Bianco beers and to eat Polipo Salad and Spaghetti with Anchovies. Both were delicious and well prepared. Prices total was 33€ If you are in the area it is worth a visit.More
A must-visit if you're in the area! We had an amazing walk up from Taormina to start the day and celebrated with a connolo, mandorle granita, brioche, espresso and almond wine served in a penis glass - all absolutely delicious! We sat on the second...floor balcony and the view of Etna as Castelmola was coming to life for the day was magical. The decor is brilliant - a real sight to behold. Maybe not one for kids...More
Fun place as they sell fertility items in every shape and size imaginable, pastries were just baked.
We didn't eat there, just drinks but it really is a great spot, sitting on a balcony on one of the many floors that make up this unique bar/restaurant. You look down on Castelmola's main square and the church of St. Nicolas and it's all...very peaceful. Obviously, you are surrounded with penis-imagery for reasons that you can find on Wikipedia but don't let a few phalluses put you off your beer. It's certainly a welcome place to stop after making the steady climb up from Taormina. Well worth it for the views.More
Very odd multi level restaurant with a quaint and cosy feel in a very popular area of this stunning hillside town. After getting a voucher to sample this bar and restaurant’s wine I was curious why the ticket seemed shaped like a male’s penis and...testicles. I thought it was an odd coincidence at first but was shocked to find the whole restaurant from decor to door handles were shaped like penises and testicles! The place is a must visit to just see the mass of different displayed items. It is a laugh and there are of course souvenir items to buy too. The wine has a liquor taste and was very nice. The multi levels where you can eat offer great views and show off more displays. The food menu has everything you expect and was very generous in size. Good quality. Service was pretty good considering how busy it was. Fascinating and fun place to go to.More
Need to visit! Sit on balcony if possible- we went around 1030 am. Get the almond wine Good people watching spot
It’s my 4th time here and very little changes. The staff always friendly and smiling. Try to go up and sit in the balcony :)
