Exactly what were looking for. En route to San Gimignano from Rome and wanted a simple country retreat for lunch. This place was no more than 2km from the motorway. In a quiet elevated position. The service was warm and friendly and the food simple and delicious. I highly recommend Frangellini. 4 people - wine, pasta, salad and coffee for... More

I can't say enough about this completely impromptu stop on the way from Rome to Chiusi. We read some reviews on tripadvisor and were definitely later than normal lunch hour but we stopped anyway. Our hosts took excellent care of us and made us a completely from scratch meal with everything made or grown on their farm. Was OUT OF... More

My husband and I discovered this restaurant when he moved to the Sabina region for work. Since then, every time I visit Italy, we try to get there once per week. For us, going there is a culinary experience. Every morsel of food is delicious. We especially love the fact that there isn't a set menu, so we never know... More

After a few family members visited last year, this was on the top of list of places to visit in Italy. I can say I was not disappointed one bit! The view of countryside Rome from there was amazing! The staff were so inviting (you will only get this kind of service from a family owned and operated restaurant). The... More

So so so good!!! So refreshing to stop here after our way out of Rome. Absolutely a must stop. We brought our 2 year old and she loved playing outside and watching the animals !

For the record, I am a sucker for restaurants with no menu as that typically indicates that the food you are about to be served is fresh daily and in this case, that was exactly the case. Tony and his daughter greeted us for lunch on our way to Toscana. What had been expected to be a quick stop to... More

I was there once with two buddies and had the most wonderful time. The service was superb and the food was simply exquisite. The owner attended us and he didn't speak english very well but we were able to somehow communicate. He said he'd order on our behalf and we consented. It was simply incredible!!!!!!

We ate here at Sunday lunchtime, in the garden dining area. The restaurant is very convenient for travellers - very near the Magliano Sabina exit of the A1, off the road leading to the town itself - and yet you are in beautiful gardens, surrounded by olives, cacti and flowers, viewing up to the town of Magliano Sabina above. There... More

8 of us plus baby were given a fantastic long lunch (we turned up around 1 on a Thursday). Home grown anti pasti, delicious pasta and truffle and Parmesan cooked beef. Both red and white wine local and delicious. If only I hadn't been driving I would have sampled the grappa!
