Decided to try a new restaurant for lunch. We were impressed by the welcome and the decor of this restaurant. We tried the daily menu. The tomato based starter was rather disappointing whilst the stuffed mussels were ok. For main course the magret was totally excellent and the ribs satisfactory. The pineapple desert was very good. Overall a decent meal... More

Lovely food with fantastic service. Staff spoke very good English. Highly recommended if you are in the region. Family owned Resturant. We had a business lunch on route to another location. Nice decor. May be hard to find without GPS.

With a different menu proposed each day offering a choice between 3 entrées, 3 main dishes and 3 desserts for only 23 euros, we were 10 very happy punters – French and Belgian - when we left this restaurant. Delicious, well-presented, fresh food amongst which roast lamb, coquilles Saint-Jacques, sea bass, shrimps …all served promptly by amiable staff – who... More

We had dinner at this lovely little restaurant last night and we're very impressed. We found it here on Tripadvisor and booked a table, however when we arrived we had second thoughts as the location and exterior were not great. We decided to go in anyway and take a chance, we were delighted we did. The menu of the day... More

We arrived in this restaurant and no one was able to speak much English and our French was very poor. They immediately called in the owners wife to help us with the menu. They brought out the appetizers that our husbands ordered and they also brought out a small appetizer for both my sister and I because they said they... More

We have been on a number of occasions in a group, with other friends and as a couple. Service can be a bit slow, but also sometimes a bit too quick. We don't mind waiting a short time. The food is good quality and nicely cooked but always too much for me, but not other clients. Their menu is very... More

We had very tasty seafood starter, expertly seasoned, followed by a seafood cocotte: moules, salmon and other fish plus potatoes in a special sauce, all freshly cooked. Our appetites being small we had to forego the home made creme brulé, but shared a Sorbet between is. We'll definitely go back!

Starters: magret de canard just average, but the obergine farcie was simply frozen (just taken out from the fridge?). Main course (cauchon noir) was pretty ok, but not memorable. Dessert:just average. Service: need some work. We had to wait almost 15 minutes for the waiter to stop chatting with a couple of other clients before we could ask for our... More

Stopped at L'Olivade on our way to Gonfaron for a late supper. The waitors helped us put together tables so the seven of us could eat together outside. No english spoken by the crew, but we were able to place an order for food with help from our body language. The dishes were really tasty and great looking. Both kids... More
