Nice pub, had a few meals here now on different visits to the area, great food, good prices and friendly service. There is also a garden seating area for summer and you can watch the steam trains running to and from grosmont, great to see, suits all ages.

We visited the Bridge Inn on 15th February to celebrate my 40th. It was local to where we were staying which meant we could walk and both have a drink. The welcome we received was lovely and the food was amazing. We took our girls aged 10 and 13 who can be a tough audience but they amused themselves at... More

Had a meal on Saturday afternoon at The Bridge. As usual, food, service, drink & atmosphere all spot on. I write a few reviews for this place & the reason is simple, we use it a lot because it is always good.

Nice chicken curry, homemade burger ( very nice ) and Cumberland sausage in a Yorkshire pudding. Good atmosphere and friendly staff.

Stayed in holiday cottage over road & decided to go for an evening meal. Bar busy but dinning room empty. Needed 9 chairs & 2 high chairs, seated quickly at 3 tables & given menus. Ordered at bar & enjoyed a drink while we waited. Typical pub food, tasty & plentiful, served by a young man who seemed a bit... More

We called in on the friday teatime for a quick drink and the pub was full of locals(as to be expected). There was nowhere to sit in the main bar, so we went through to the inner bar. There was a reserved sign on one of the tables so we sat an an adjoining table for an hour or so.A... More

Two tables had been pushed together and a reserved sign put on both tables, I did not come over and talk loud and as for saying can you not read this is untrue, when making comments they should be true and not exaggerated More
