At the Erie Beach, a historic restaurant, dinner is always good, love the celery bread and pickled pumpkin when in season! Very relaxed atmosphere, friendly service, good food! May have to wait in line on the weekends to get a table. Upstairs and down, the Cove is more romantic for couples and includes all you can eat salad bar! We... More

A group of us decided to travel to Port Dover on the shores of Lake Erie as we had never been and heard of the great beaches and the local theatre company. We ate at the Cove Room located in the Erie Beach Hotel one block from the beach and two blocks from the Lighthouse theatre. An excellent lunch of... More

Most horrible meal, great service but worst meal ever. Served a salad bar that we didn't want or eat and could not take the left overs which were being thrown out regardless Split a meal and charged and extra $11 for salad bar that we didn't want in the first place. Really need to modernize and update and need to... More

for the past 25 years, we did enjoy coming here post a performance at the theatre. now the familiar celery bread and french fries are still streaming with grease while the perch as well as fish items have been priced beyond affordability. unfortunately the taste of these dishes do not reflect the quality expected with its price range

Recent day trip to Port Dover included lunch at the Erie Beach Hotel. The food was simple, hearty and filling. All the choices were accompanied by an abundance of salads reminiscent of the 1980's .. Mandarin Orange, Horseradish, Cabbage. Bean and Cucumber ... all freshly made and tasty. The perch was a little dry but the celery bread was very... More

Went to the Hotel to eat with visiting family and had the Perch and celery bread (recommended by my boss!) It was great. Service was good, food excellent and staff friendly.

wonderful, fresh food, but too much, wasteful. We were rushed from eating our delicious salad choices as the main course was served. I explained it was too soon, but to no avail. The waitress just shrugged.

Every once in while, we take the drive out to Erie Beach to celebrate a special family moment--birthday, anniversary, etc. From the celery bread to the salads and local fish dishes, it always creates another family memory.

Best place for Lake Erie perch. The Capri lounge is like stepping back into the 60's with the decor and the individual salad carts that come to your table. The pickled pumpkin and celery bread are their claim to fame (aside from the perch). Feature local wines and beers.... the total experience is just charming!
