Literally off the beaten track - this beachside restaurant/café is fantastic. The décor is deliberately 'brocante' with an eclectic mix of bric-a-brac from the lighting to the seating. The food was brilliant - well thought out menu - competitive plat du jour and amazingly fresh seafood. The beach is stunning - white(ish) sand 50 feet away with parasol/sunbed options and... More

Over the 4 weeks we probably visited at least 4 times per week including one very special dinner. A superb location on the beach with an eclectic unique atmosphere but don't dress up ! Lunches are great value, all the usual ,moules, fish shellfish etc but well cooked and really flavoursome. Can get very busy in high season so do... More

Spend a day here chilling. Hired 'fat boy' bean bags to relax on, totally brilliant way to sunbathe. We had a 5* lunch with great wine. Staff were great. We don't speak much French and although they didn't speak too much English they were very attentive. Cocktails were too good!!! The best day at the beach I have ever spent!

Stopped by for a drink. The beach was desert and had a chance to enjoy a nice setting by the water. The service was good. I didn't try the food since I stopped by after lunch time.

We had been told by friends what a great place this was to eat and we weren't disappointed. Tomato gazpacho and a cappuccino de courge d'été (with coffee sprinkled on top!) were lovely starters and the mains - saddle of rabbit and salmon both served with the vegetables of the day: a carrot purée, mushrooms and roasted fig - were... Our expectations were high so we were considerably put out when the entrée of sardines at 12 euros turned out to be a tin of sardines! All the "chef" had done was open a tin, add a few slices of onion on top and a knob of v.good butter, a small glass of salad and some bread. The tomato starter... More

After being recommended this restaurant, we had a very dissappointing meal. Maybe it was because it was the end of the season. I ordered sardines as an entree, a tin of sardines turned up and my fruit kebab had seen better days!!!

Lovely setting. Salad crunchy with grit plus my daughter had a bonus caterpillar. Mussels non-existent apart from the shells. With the exception of one star waitress the rest of the team were far too cool to be taking the job seriously. On the plus side my wife's monkfish was delicious. If you want to be seen and enjoy a nice... More

We picked the only cold, cloudy, drizzly day since records began - well, in 2 months anyway - to book a trip to the beach. Nevertheless, people were having raucous al fresco meals wearing waterproofs over their best linen, walking on the rain pitted sand and playing beach games with wind-wayward balls. It was a stroll down la plage to... More
