It is worth a return trip to Barcelona to eat at this modest little neighborhood restaurant! Each element on the plate was exquisite and perfect! Freshest seafood on our vacation in Spain (and Mallorca). The wait service was friendly, accommodating and knowledgable. We tried 5 tapas and 2 desserts and to this day can't decide which was our favorite! We live in Miami and New Haven so we have experienced a LOT of upscale restaurant meals -- this one was MEMORABLE!

We went there one afternoon before heading to the airport and it was really great. The mini sandwich, the croquettes and the tacos were very original and good. For main course, we had the tataki and rice with crab, it was also excellent. The Ferrero Rocher coulant for dessert was a perfect finishing touch. Finally, the price is reasonable and the service impeccable. I recommend without hesitation!

Leave the tourist mobs behind and take a taxi to the El Prat neighborhood. (Near BCN). Great atmosphere, great food, fantastic wine. Owners and staff were most gracious. Lots of locals here enjoying themselves. A very good evening.

We love this place, best spot in town! Gorgeus fresh food you'll surely enjoy! They have a nice selection of wines and desserts are also a must ("Torrija" is definately my fave ;)

Great neighborhood spot off the tourist path

If you're staying near the airport, this is a great place to have lunch or dinner. It's a classic neighborhood wine bar and restaurant. Thanks to TripAdvisor, there are visitors, but it's mostly locals. Great food, nice selection of wine, and impeccable service, ranging from helping with menu advice to preparing beef tartare and carving the ham in the middle of the room.

Dinner near airport hotel

After reading the dreadful reviews of the restaurant in our airport hotel before our flight home we took a taxi ride to 2 de Vins for our last dinner in Spain. We were pleasantly surprised by a delightful neighborhood spot with great food and friendly staff. Well worth the 10€ taxi ride.

Best food we've had in Spain

In this little neighborhood near the airport and far from the town center is a gem of a restaurant. The quality of food is excellent. I highly recommend the foie gras with white chocolate and gold powder. Wow, what a combination! The food is thoughtfully prepared and presented on pretty plates. Wine by the glass is very good and reasonable. The waiters speak English and work very diligently. Note that dinner starts at 8 pm in true Spanish fashion. This place filled up on a Wednesday evening so call and make a reservation. Dinner here is a great value. We took the metro from Tryp hotel and it was easy.

Great last night dinner in Barcelona

We stayed at the Best Western airport hotel on our last night because we had an early flight. The area across the river was hopping with people and places to eat. We snuck in here early enough on a Friday night so that we good eat before reservations. English menu available and English speaking staff- not important to us but a note to other travelers. Amazing Grenache wine and good food. Also staff is very fun. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

We had lunch here on our way to the airport. Saturday lunchtime and full of atmosphere We had the most delicious food: small fried fish, beer battered asparagus, tuna with lentils and then the pork shoulder cooked as you like it on a hot stone at the table , with potatoes and patron peppers. The children were delighted with their pork dish ( tasted like the most amazing ham and cheese toastie!) . Desserts were also yummy . Great service and one of the best meals of our holiday ! Highly recommend if you are in Barcelona and want to eat some great catalan food away from the tourist traps!
