First Rate Japanese Barbecue

I have visited this Japanese restaurant several times now, with my Japanese partner who is greatly impressed by the food and service. This is a first rate venue which I highly recommend, especially the mixed meat plate which one cooks at the personal barbecue pit in the centre of the table.

great spot to catch up with friends, interactive cooking which also keeps the kids busy. Nice food, well priced, icy cold Asahi. Service is pretty ordinary though.

All you can eat concept, we ordered calamari, octopus, beef loin, chicken, pork rib and beef rib.. Slow service and missed items, some items we needed to re-order as there was a mix up. We ordered tuna sashimi which is excluded from the deal, the serving size was a joke! Overall is ok with some let downs

Came here after not being able to book at their sister restaurant, Suminoya. The beef is not as juicy or tender, i think its not wagyu like in Suminoya. Its cheaper though at $39.90 compared to Suminoya at $45. Staff kept hinting that we ordered too much even tho we finished everything and also forgot some of our order. (It... More

Each place setting has there own bbq pit in the middle of the table, and you order from a long menu of asian dishes, the meats for you to cook yourself. The food keeps coming as long as you can eat it. Good fun and delicious range of options
