All reviews zucchini fritters pizza goat salad souvlaki lamb old village relaxing music friendly waiter restaurant sits beautiful view peppercorn sauce homemade food kefalos village well worth a visit bite to eat fantastic restaurant
Our first night in Kefalos. We walked the seafront but chose to head up the hill for our first evening meal.
Although quiet, the background greek music created a nice atmosphere and a friendly waiter quickly acknowledged us. A carafe of house wine was ordered...and our main meals..Pork Soulaki and Chicken Souvlaki accompanied by a peppercorn sauce. The food was delish. My pork was cooked in herbs and melted in the mouth, my partner also enjoyed her chicken, special praise for the peppercorn sauce which on trying myself, I confirm.
A second half carafe of wine (advertised as dry but changed to medium sweet) we had a quick walk around the village and both agreed a second visit is needed. Here for 14 nights so, so far so goodMore
Well what can you say, excellent food, great atmosphere, superb views and great service. Walked up from our hotel for our first visit, but not great walking back down, when it’s dark and you’ve had a few beers and a carafe of wine. For our...second visit, we emailed the restaurant in the morning, asked them to reserve a table with a view and if they could collect us from our hotel. They duly obliged and also dropped us back at our hotel when we were ready to leave. Would highly recommend that you visit this restaurant when in Kos.More
Popped in for lunch and was amazed.
The lady and man that greeted and served us were very warm, welcoming and friendly.
Ordered a round of drinks, prawn saganaki, grated zucchini fritters, large beans and a greek salad. All perfectly seasoned, prepared, presented and the...taste was unreal. All cost less than €30 and left us satisfied. Definitely heading back before the end of our holiday for dinner. Superb.More
Nice hidden location, everything homemade and delicious, away from touristy sites, calm location, nice friendly service, loved the details they add like little oil or vinegar mini bottles, ice cubes, the quality of the products was amazing. Comfy seats and tables, next to the street...but fortunately not a busy one. Will be back to try other dishes. Definetely to recommendMore
Incredible! I love finding local places where the food is homemade and fresh and this is one of the BEST! The hummus is amazing, the salads are perfect, pizzas incredible and everything just delicious!
Brilliant lunch with a beautiful view, well worth a visit if...you’re on the island!! 🤩More

Hi, sorry, just saw this as we flew home yesterday. It's about a twenty min walk uphill but easier to get back. If you walk out of the hotel, bare right and theirs some steps that take off one of the road corners. Take a torch if coming back when it's dark though. Well worth the effort of getting up there and some amazing views too!
