I had a birthday dinner here last night. Service was amazing as was the food. Youngest son chose from the fixed price offer...pork belly followed by lamb sliders, eldest son and Mrs went for fish and chips, whilst I went for the barramundi. We all loved our meals. We will so be back..thanks

Stunning views. Awesome fresh food. Great wine. Accomodating service. This is our goto place for something a little bit special and would totally recommend it.

First visit to the upstairs restaurant at Cerberus Beach House, Black Rock, (Melbourne Australia) in June when I met a close friend for lunch. We both love restaurants near the sea, rare to find for some strange reason in Victoria, and this one is an oldie but goodie. With the look and feel of a real beach shack, and located... More

In the 6 years that I have been in Melbourne, I have to say that these are the best Fish and Chips I have had. They are freshly cooked and the fish is divine, add some malt vinegar and the fact that you are right by the beach and it was heavenly.

Very small restaurant. Has set menu sitting up until 7:30pm then a la carte. Staff very professional and friendly. Food over rated and over priced. Can't see how they have won awards.

They do say that good things come in small packages, although we can seat 60+, and enjoy 180 degree views over Port Phillip Bay, and our moderate size permits more intimate service and setting. There may have been some misunderstanding as we offer a la carte menu all the time, plus mid-week special menus during winter - ranging from 2... More

Melbourne at its best! Lovely fresh seafood with the best views out over the bay and glimpses of the city beyond. We had a beautiful sunset over the water. The service is friendly and efficient and very accommodating of dietary requests. Nice wines by the glass. And very reasonable value considering the location.

We have been here for the second time, and we really love the place. The food is excellent and the chef clearly cares about the presentation. Also the service was really good, and above all, the view on Port Phillip bay is lovely. We were lucky to be here twice (during winter) but with perfect blue skies, and windows open.

We found the whole experience disappointing. We expected that there would be some selection of fish dishes, yet only a basic fish & chips was available. The Menu was very limited and the serves quite small. There was little in the way of vegetables available. We won't be going back.

Hi - we're struggling to understand your feedback as our standard menu has 33 different dishes, including individual dishes of scallops, oysters, kingfish ceviche, seafood bouillabaisse, prawns x 2, barramundi, salmon, mussels or our seafood platter for two, along with 4 side dishes of salad, vegetables and chips. Not to mention our specials board with 3-4 different dishes daily, including... More

Great meal (Evening) at Cerberus. My husband and I had the Kingfish ceviche - beautiful, leek and zucchini croquettes - very tasty, Cone Bay Barramundi - great flavours and a beautiful piece of fish in a fennel purée, Seafood Linguine - perfect ! Would highly recommend.
