Had a family get together for a birthday lunch here and enjoyed our meals which were beautifully presented and very yummy.....the parking on the other hand was a joke!! The person who organised the lunch was told if you eat in the restaurant you can park out the front for free!!...apparently not so...The parking spots for cars both up on... More

We share your frustration at the parking situation and have been working with Council to try and develop a fairer solution for non-Bayside residents, which will unfortunately only apply during the off-peak season. We're not sure how the misunderstanding about free car parking out the front for diners arose - we've been actively advising diners against parking there as Council... More

The Cerberus is very well located with great views over the bay. A draw back is the steep parking charge, I forget exactly how much it was, but it hit me as being quite expensive just to park the car for lunch. The other frustrating thing with regard to parking is as you drive in there are endless signs to... More

Thank you for your kind review. We agree the cost of parking is steep for non-Bayside residents, and have been working with Council to try and develop a fairer solution. We try to ensure a range of smaller and larger dishes on the menu to suit all tastes, but appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back. More

Dinner for an 18th family birthday with a group of 16. Split our group onto two tables even though there was plenty of room to have a single table. Main meals came out 15-20 mins apart on the same table so one group had completely finished before the other started. Food was good though and reasonably priced. Great location with... More

Thank you for celebrating your birthday with us. Our smaller restaurant and kitchen means we often need to split larger groups and stagger serving times a little to ensure everyone enjoys the best quality dish we can serve. We're working hard with Council to alleviate the parking situation. Thanks again for dining with us and sharing your feedback. More

A friend recommended this place for fish and chips. We were not disappointed . They even ask you your preference with the fish.Battered or grilled, but battered is better. Served with pickled vegetable and a green sauce to die for.you . They have downstairs take away for outside casual eating facing the pier in Black Rock. Definitely going back in... More

Meals are tasty but overpriced and small. Don't have the braised pork belly as you get one pork strip (available in packs of six in Coles and Woolies) for half the price you for the one.

We can't help being a little surprised by your feedback. The pork belly was a starter dish, so most customers expect and appreciate it being on the smaller side. Of course you can buy the raw ingredient cheaper than we serve the final product, but that doesn't factor in the transport costs to our venue; the extra ingredients we add... More

It was dinner mid week and we had a window table overlooking the bay. Even at night, the view is wonderful.they do have a specials board but depending where you sit it's very hard to read, however the waitress did run through them. We were all satisfied with our meal however I would prefer not to have my fish on... More

Dinner with 2 granddaughters. Celebrating number 2 who turned 14 years of age. Fish and chips for husband and birthday girl. Steak for eldest granddaughter, seafood linguine for myself. My dish great, right size. Steak dinner very good. Fish and chips. Please don't put the chips under the fish and not so many. Sweets were excellent. Service very pleasant. Good... More

We had a lovely celebratory dinner for mine and my husbands dinner. The menu is delicious (heavily weighted to seafood) and the staff were knowledgeable and attentive without being overwhelming. There are very few waterfront restaurants on Port Philip Bay. This one is a winner!

Went to Cerberus for lunch today. I had the Pork Belly special, delicious and my friend had the fish (flake) and chips, also delicious. Great service and attention to detail.

The view of the bay was great from the upstairs restaurant. Food and service was great, possibly could have had a couple more dishes to choose from for non seafood guests. My hubby loved the seafood choices and choose Moreton Bay Bugs and I had the duck leg, both meals were lovely. We will definitely return.
