We stayed at the hotel and checked-in quite late. The restaurant on the premises proved to be a good choice. The meat on stone was very tasty. The fresh vegetables in their tiny can were not easy to grab though.

The staff at the restaurant was impolite, inflexible, like from the past. We ordered potato pancakes which were OK, but the salads were sour. When we told about that to waitress but she basically ignored us 😂
We stayed at the hotel and we chose to have dinner there.
- nice selection of local Lithuanian wines. (Try raspberry, but not gooseberry!)
- the burgers were a bit bland, but the enjoyable nevertheless. They even asked how we wanted them cooked!

Though restaurant is in soviet architecture building-hotel, don't be afraid: design of the restaurant is very different and rare to compare with a lot of other "folklored" venues. Subtle colors, pictures with authentic folk ornaments and wooden floors and furniture turns this space into Lithuanian-Provence...More
Food price/quality is just an average ... There's no air conditioning system and it was very hot inside during our visit. I would not recommend this place for my friends. BTW, salad was awful and chicken breast was just OK.
