Mouth watering menu - I chose the duck breast with potato rosti & carrot puree.. it was cooked beautifully.. my only complaint would be that the meal could have been bigger (some added vegetables would have been perfect) ..I was still hungry after... When this place gets busy, it gets really busy! It's obviously a popular spot and I can see why. The staff always make us feel welcome and handle the rush with humour and class. Customer service is top notch and the food is delicious. Thanks for my special profiteroles. It was a lovely touch!

We called in for tea at this beautiful pub. Next to the canal, it had lots of outside space to eat but we decided to eat inside. There were lots of areas to choose from. We ended up in the snug. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. We ordered food. I had the butchers platter it was amazing.... More

What an amazing sunday lunch, the service was the best I have recieved in a very long time. The meal was cooked to our liking, the drink suggestions spot on. Highly recommend booking a table before you go and to go for the extra's with the sunday roast. (we are still dreaming of the stuffing) We have just moved out... More

We decided to try here for Sunday lunch. On arrival we noticed there was plenty of outside seating areas, either close to the main building, or by the canal. As the weather wasn't brilliant we sat inside. We were warmly welcomed, immediately sat out our table and asked if we would like some drinks while we looked at the menu.... More

Haven't been here for a while and must have changed hands because it is not what it used to be. Very expensive for mediocre food, small pudding portions and inexperienced staff. What a shame, used to be one of my favourite restaurants

Overall the meal was good except for the desserts that took nearly 25 minutes to come and the baked cheesecake was cold ...... The overall service was good .... The staff helpful and well informed of the specials ...

As i live 3 minutes away from The Old Mill, I want to go there every night and take friends and meet regular staff who know me and have a great time. It just doesn't happen ! The place is great. Lovely little rooms, perfect location and could be amazing. But the staff turnover is MASSIVE ! Every time I... More

Quick stop in to a local with a recent refurbishment. Looks nice feels comfortable and inviting. Great little snug areas by the water out the back and and gardens to the front. Prices a little more than expected and since the last time I was in there. Menu looks good again a little over priced Pleasant team serving

Thank Jason H
