What a find! We were staying locally and ate here both nights. The food was excellent and it was great to be offered a good variety of vegetables with the mains too.

Our family from Australia were visiting, and we took them to our favourite place The Old Plough. They were as we always are extremely impressed with the food and service.

We went on the 2 nights we were in the area the duck was good along with a brilliant selection of vegetables. The landlord is a very approachable chap called Tony he recommended the wine on both nights a reasonably priced red the first night. Then having had a nice touch at Newmarket races he produced a Puligny Montrachet to... More

Had the pleasure of using this restaurant for 3 nights whilst staying at a local B&B. I found the food to be outstanding at very reasonable prices. Privately owned and obviously very popular with the locals. The host has a very dry sense of humour, and when you see past that he can be quite funny. I would not hesitate... More

Had Sunday lunch on the recommendation of a local. Have never had a meal with 11 types of vegetable on the plate before. Cannot fault the food and the service was excellent. The doubt is, that I'm not sure everyone wants a 4 course meal (the only option) and that selection of vegetables. But that is a personal choice, and... More

This pub has an excellent vibe, lots of bits and bobs from around the world, the toilets are certainly worth a visit! Food was excellent and a great choice of dishes. Definitely recommend this pub, the best around Suffolk.
