Visited Gabriel's Restaurant on Boxing Day, with my family. We had a buffet with loads of Cypriot and Greek specialities (Mousaka, veggies, salads, stifado etc). Great value for money as it only cost €15 for a full three course meal, where you can eat as much as you want. The food is delicious and the staff very nice and helpful.... More

Went here with some friends as we are local to the village. When told that the special was suckling pig, I didn't bother with the menu. It was excellent. Four mains and a few beers, cake and fruit on the house and all less than €60. It's why we keep going back.

We have had our lunch here today, as always the food was great. Sat outside in the autumn/winter sunshine in Kouklia had a large bowl of fresh Village Salad, flat breads tahini, tzakiki, olives and houmous, vegetarian and meat moussakas and salads. Then home made orange semolina cake. Our friends from the UK enjoyed their lunch. Relaxed, friendly and enjoyable.

It's always a great experience visiting Gabriels. Gabriel and his wife always provide a warm welcome, there is a great atmosphere and the food never disappoints. If you're hungry, try the meze - we've never managed to finish it!

Six of us have just enjoyed a fantastic family night out in Gabriel's Tavern in Kouklia celebrating two birthdays. Gabriel and his staff couldn't have been kinder or more welcoming. The food was brilliant and the atmosphere terrific. It was our first visit but we'll be regulars from now on when we visit Cyprus. Hugh and Evelyn, Southport

Absolutely loved it. We went there for dinner and the food was excellent. There's a variety of meze dishes which are very tasty and very carefully prepared. The owners are very polite and friendly. The atmosphere is cosy and the location is set right in the heart of the village. There was someone signing Rembetika on the night we visited... More
