The food is reasonable but if you are expecting relaxed meal this is not the place for you. Its fast and frenetic and the staff are constantly balancing time and people. Price is mid range so great for a mid week meal

France continues to surprise me with the quality of the food at what I consider ridiculously low prices. 13 Euros for the menu of the day which includes wine is a steel for us punters. The wine isn't premier cru from Bordeux, but it's a perfectly acceptable local brew. The food is very simple like a potato soup and Duck... More

We arrived as a pre-booked group on a sunny Sunday. Fantastic location right on the square with locals and tourists alike enjoying the sunshine and atmosphere. It was chaotic with the staff trying to find tables for everyone and manage the onslaught of lunch orders but they seemed to cope well (despite one of the very hot soup bowls being... More

We've had a couple of hit and miss experiences in the evening here; mostly because it is very popular and can sometimes get slightly overwhelmed, as there are lots of tables. Indeed, there seem to be a couple more each time we go! For lunch however, it is lovely. The food is nice and the place is a joy.

This resturtant will always get 5 stars from me simply for its value for money no nonsense approach 13 Euros for 4 courses and as much wine as you can drink the food and service is of a good standard and you could easily be paying 25 Euros a head for this but this makes sense a busy Resturtant must... The lunch menu includes soup, a starter, a main course a desert and 25 cl of wine. You can choose from three options for your main, all of them ensure you'll enjoy a copious meal made with fresh local produce. In 2016 the price of a luch menu was a mere 13 euros.

Couldn't diversify at all. Asked for options? an omelette, but apparently had no eggs. No fish,or vegetarian option on the "menu de jour",only meats. Sad about this because have only had some excellent experiences here. Sadly on this occasion it failed in a very big way to offer a decent meal. you can only rely on a fantastic setting to... More

This place is 25km from our holiday home, but we always make time for a visit. Based in the stunning medieval marketplace of a Gers hilltop village. This family run restaurant has a simple rustic menu that never fails to please.
