We were so impressed with this restaurant that we made another visit. We were not disappointed. This is a small restaurant but spotlessly clean with pleasant background music. It is licensed and BYO. There is a wide choice of dishes which are attractively presented by friendly staff. There are plenty of vegetarian dishes as well as meat and seafood and... More

Been here twice, and the food is amazing. Wine is not overly priced, and their sushi is the freshest eva. My favourite restaruant when travelling to Melbourne from Sydney. Service is traditional - prices are reasonable.

This local Japanese restaurant is great if you want a quick meal. It is never really very busy at all. The staff (possibly owner) is always very friendly and attentive and she remembers you well. The quality of the sushi and sashimi is great and I find it very fresh and delicious. But for the pricing, it is a little... More

The owner and waitress, they try their best. but not good enough, especially for the price they charge. i ordered the sukiyaki. the beef was not sliced thin enough and abit tough. they also tried to charge me extra for a variation, without telling us beforehand.

Felt like Japanese locally, and walked along Smith Street to see what was there. Pleasantly surprised. small, cosy space. We had the window table. Good food, attentive service and reasonable prices.

Looking for a place to have a quick bite with our friends before we caught a show. Good Japanese food, reasonable pricing, great service. Does BYO wine, which was the clincher for some of our group.

We had a dinner here - first excellent point is that they allow BYO followed with some excellent Japanese food and very friendly service. This is a small restaurant and when we visited it would have been about half full. It was comfortable and the staff very friendly - worth a visit.

We stumbled across this little Japanese restaurant at the end of our stay in Melbourne. It's a traditional suburban restaurant than doesn't have the fit out of some of the other restaurants on this strip - but don't let than stop you. The food is fantastic and the staff are lovely. The food in this area of town is great... More
