Great family meal here, interesting menu and fascinating wine list! We were a party of 13 and everyone loved their food. Chefs desert sharer was particularly good. Went back the next day for afternoon tea - also superb. Give it a try! We will be back :)

Afternoon tea, both traditional, cake based and a savouries based version, an experience that must be tried and hopefully repeated. From the personal welcome,we felt like returning friends, choice of table, choosing your loose leaf tea from a range of leaves, (to be sniffed) This is a delight to be enjoyed at your leisure. The Arms is not on any... More

"Ordinary? No, not ordinary. Extraordinary!" So said Tim when we made our choice from the Afternoon Tea menu! There are two choices, you see - Traditional and Savoury. One with sandwiches and the other more savoury pastries. Both with cakes, scones and home-made jam and clotted cream. This is a new venture for Tim and Lynn and we booked a... More

Went here last night with friends for a 50th birthday and WOW WOW WOW the food was amazing and cooked to perfection, the service was excellent and prosecco went down a treat. What a gorgeous little restaurant/pub, the decor was beautiful and the whole atmosphere was warm and cosy. Looking forward to our next visit 😀

Great beer, fabulous food , attentive and knowledgable staff what else can i say? The evening was a triumph from start to finish. There was a slight problem with our booking as I'd booked very late but the staff were very accommodating and we were made comfortable and welcome. We booked the afternoon tea for a celebration and we were so pleased that we did. Excellent service and attention to detail. The savouries, sandwiches, cakes & scones were super. Plenty to eat, well prepared and presented. An excellent choice of teas too, properly explained and served in silver tea pots. Proper afternoon tea, lovingly prepared and served.

Thank David T
