Work put me in accomodation in Wickhambreaux, so I tried the pub and it was excellent. Good sized portions for reasonable prices, brilliantly cooked and a decent selection of vegetarian meals as well. The hops and lights hanging from the ceiling along with the log...More

Came for lunch on a wet cold half term lunchtime with family and parents. Delightful staff, warm welcome, excellent home cooked food, well kept beer and nice atmosphere plus a roaring fire. Spare ribs were excellent and pizzas much enjoyed. Couldn’t fault the place. Brilliant.

Ordered Gammon and chips a traditional pub grub type meal, portion size was good, but the eggs were undercooked, should not see liquid uncooked whites in a fried Egg. Service was polite and the atmosphere was fine.

Went with my kids mid week after walking through the fields from Littlebourne. Its quaint and traditional looking inside. The warm welcome from the owner and young lady server was lovely, despite the fact that it is also 'locals' hangout. They have something on tap...More

Loud, swearing youths in bar, complained to landlady but no action taken. On ordering our meal was told no steaks available, the waitress was not familiar with the menu or drinks, she was more interested in the youths then the customers. Overall a badly run establishment. Certainly...More
