Great place! Great people and delicious food! And this view!!! :-) AMAZING! I can only recommend this place as a MUST BE on the list while visiting Jastarnia. For all the couples out there - the best place ever to say YES ;-) The Team...organized our wedding and made our special day even better than we were expecting!More
If you are enjoying holiday at the Polish seaside (at Hel peninsula specifically) and want to spend unforgettable afternoon sipping cocktail while watching the sunset, this is the ultimate spot. Being kitesurfer I spend every summer in Jastarnia and this is definitely one of my...very favourite places to visit.
Rettungs Budy is everything you can expect in such a location and more. They serve quality classic cocktails, very tasty home-made lemon-vodka shots and speciality of the house - marine-themed XXL long drinks.
On some nights you can enjoy diner (from great pizza to fancy modern cuisine) while listening to live jazz band playing.
On Friday night for change, this place is becoming the number one party location in town, with DJs playing current hits and small carts serving shots all over the place. The dance floor is always packed and it lasts until the wee hours next morning. If you are partry type, this is something not to be missed while visiting Jastarnia.
On other nights though the place is quite relaxed and perfect for meetup with friends. This is probably the only place in Hel - peninsula area where you can wine and dine with a sea view.
Also, if you are interested in history, don't forget to ask owners (who are locals) about the history of the place. There is a great story behind it, as at the end of XIX century, the building served as a marine rescue station.More
You sit in a table outside and there is jazz band live music...so far so good right? Then you want to order the food and bam...waitress tell you to go outside to order the pizza but she says she will bring it to your table....There is a numbering system but we keep seeing pizzas going and coming around because the numbers are not visible.
Our conclusion is pizza place is owned by some one else and here you order the drinks. Well same place different systems.More

True, pizza place and cocktail bar & restaurant are two different entities. Pizza logistics works fine for most customers.
I booked Rettungsbudy for a private party of 50 people with dinner and drinks, and they made sure we had a great evening from beginning to end. The food was good and cocktails were excellent! Bartek with family and crew were super friendly and professional,...and fulfilled all our wishes. The venue itself holds a high standard and has an amazing view of the ocean. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, and will for sure be back if I'm in the area!More
