Worth a visit

Nicely furnished restaurant, large selection of dishes (also for vegetarians), very friendly and helpful staff. All the food we tasted was very good (soup, appetizer, main course). If someone likes a sharper meal, I recommend chickpeas with broccoli and hot peppers. I warmly recommend.

Really good food (both vegan and seafood), service was really fast and nice for us. I strongly recommend visiting this restaurant!

The best in Jastarnia

My captain show me this restaurant when I was on a sailing course. I went with a group of driends so I was able to taste more than one dish. The food was excellent. Fish soup was very good with a lot of fish in it. As an appetizer I recomend "Piekielny boczek urwisa" ( very hot and spicy long cooked bacon). This was heaven in mouth. I have to say it truly is hot and spicy :) Also had french way cooked mussels. Second time in my life i ate perfectly cooked mussels.First time in Poland Pizza was also very good. Thin bottom and good amount of extras. Not like other places in Jastarnia :( Dessert was too big in my opinion, but also very tasty. Restaurant made meringue with whisky cream. Other people had it with rum cream. To summarize. Excelent place with friendly stuff, delicious food and very nice look. It is a must have place in this city if you want to eat well.

Me and my friends had some really good mussels at this place. We all took 400g, but could easily eat the 800g cuz it was sooo amazing!

Still the best.

Had I written a year ago that Urwis House was the best restaurant in Jastarnia? They still are. Delicious food, great service (absolutelly perfect with extraordinary understanding for childrens" behaviour :-) . Menu with many vegetarian dishes. High value of used products. I firmly keep my strong recomendation for this place.

Delicious, healthy, lovely!

First I had come in I asked the waitress to warm up the jar with a soup for my baby. "20 seconds will be OK" - I said. The answer surprised me a lot : "Sorry, Madamme, we don't have a microwave oven. They've had me! I have stayed for a lunch and I had been coming back everyday. Everything was delicious: home-made pasta, grilled fish, gnocchi with salmon ( my favourite one!), pancakes.... I wish I had "Urwis House" in my city!

Rude staff, frozen food

For long time couldnt seen such distater in resort town. Full restaurant but the staff couldnt handled it... waiting time for stater 40 min, main course arrived on the table but wasnt this what we ve order. Waiters explaining that they have too many guests and rude bar tender... apart of it food served wasnt really something execeptional, fish and chips... hmmm hard to make it bad ?? Ovethere they can do it.

The other day my soup was too salty... but I don't really mind! This is hands down the best place to visit in the neighbourhood. If you appreciate sea food, steaks and sweets - Urwis House is for you. Simple, yet composed with passion with owners that really care for guest experience. I first came to 'Urwis' (which means 'rascal' in Polish) in 2014. This year (2016) they added vegan dishes and deserts to the menu which cannot be obtained nowhere on Hel peninsula. And if you're for something sweet - make sure to pass meringue (so there's a piece waiting for an addict like me ;)

Just good Food in Jastarnia

On the main road in Jastarnia, in Urwis you will find broad menu, specially small noodles called Polish "kopytka" are great here. You can sit inside and outside, fish is nothing extraordinary, but ok . If you are tired of Weranda, you can drop here also in ! Number 2 in Jastarnia

Nice restaurant with not so ordinary dishes

This restaurant has a really nice selection of vegan (even desserts) and vegetarian dishes. I'm not a vegan but I selected does dishes because I normally don't have such opportunity and they were delicious. I even tried the vegan dessert and it was too very good. The only downside is that there is not much place (indoor) in it for families, 3 large tables and that's it.

Nice food, poor service, expensive

Just a simple place with not that much to choose from. Fresh fish, food is good. Unfortunately service is poor. We mentioned few times while ordering that we want food for our child to come first and a waitress confirmed it. As it turned out it came as the last one.
