We had the evening special which was lasagne. It included a choice of soup/salad and home made dessert. The lasagne was different from any I had ever had, but it was tasty. There was tomato sauce, green peppers, and a very thin layer of cheese, maybe cheddar, between two layers of lasagne noodles. It was served in a little casserole... More

We were seated at 1 long table so conversation was difficult. The food took forever to arrive but was okay . No atmosphere , not my kind of place.

Unpretentious pub with good food, well prepared. Pleasant service. Love the patio. I recommend going with the chefs specials.

We went to The RG for my Mom's 70th birthday. We were 14 people. Joanne set the table up really nicely and even had birthday napkins! Her service was great! Almost everyone enjoyed their meal. It was a great night.

I'm very surprised at the negative reviews as I have not experienced any of these complaints. My husband and I have been to the Red George several times. My husband has tried just about everything on the menu, where as I have to have the chicken pot pie! We try to pop in for lunch once in awhile because they... More

Tried the seafood crepe... almost not sure what to say. The crepe was covered in a small hill of cheese in a casserole dish (what's the point of having what is supposed to be a light, delicate crepe when its like this - the crepe was completely soaked and overwhelmed by the cheese and the sauce). The shrimp were not... More

Pretty scummy place, a lot of local drunks hang out there, not a good spot to visit if you are passing through. Food is awful in my opinion and overpriced and sleazy staff.

On Sept 12, 2015, my sister, mother and I stopped at the Red George Restaurant as recommended by a local. I ordered a Ceasar Wrap, asked the waitress if it came with fries she said no, but there was the above I can have( soup or salad or potato chips. So I went with the soup. Upon receiving my bill... We stopped in for supper while travelling through the area. My liver and onions were cooked to perfection. My partner's meal,a chicken teriyaki stir fry, was scrumptious and a generous portion. Beer prices were very reasonable. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. A real neighbourhood atmosphere. Our waitress knew several of the diners by name so the locals return for... More
