Had our first supper and sunset at Guayabo's, the food was amazing. Staff excellent. The beauty of PR while eating lobster and mofongo was perfect. The coconut mojito was soooo good.

Really bad attitude from the owner in front of our kids!!! We were only asking why they have to serve in foam... conscience of the trash in an island...

Were lucky enough to walk here on the beach from the house we stayed at, friendly service, delicious food. The lobster was fresh and almost too much food! Husband got the surf and turf with steak and shrimp, could barely finish it. Adorable dog watched...over the whole place. Only wish we had figured out how to find the steps from the beach, we went a long way around initially, look for the opening in the porch they steps hug the sea wall!More

Very good food at affordable prices. We had a fried red snapper with tostones. Excellent mojitos! The waitress, Norma, is the best! She took good care of us and explained to us about the area amenities.

Apparently this restaurant is under new management and they have a new, limited menu, that I wasn't aware of. I can't honestly say it was a good thing either. My husband's favorite, red snapper, was still on the menu and he says it was still...delicious as always. Unfortunately, they took off all the pasta dishes they used to have which left my daughter and I very bummed out. We both ended up getting chicken breasts that you can then choose a sauce for. We both opted for chimichurri. It was ok. They give you plenty of it--2 very large chicken breasts, but the flavor was only ok, nothing special at all. They weren't busy that night at all but the service was still very slow! They seemed to only have 1 waitress there (who spoke very little english) and then later, a guy came out from the back to help out. He spoke more english than the waitress and did at least ask if we would like a salad with our dinner. The location is very nice, right on the beach, but overall, I'm not positive I will go back.More

Great location on the beach. We were there after sunset so we focused on food and conversation. Our group of six especially enjoyed the conch salad and mofongo which was made to order with fresh red snapper. Suggest ordering the starter portion of conch salad...with a side of amarillos rather than a large conch salad with lots of lettuce which cost three times as much. Very attentive service.More

Service and food are great. Location also since it is close to the beach. They serve one of the best stuffed mofongo in the area. Very casual and a place to have a relaxing time close to the water.
