Nice outside patio with a view of the vineyards. Salad, pasta and a glass of wine 25 euros also included an amuse Bouche and a sweet plate with the bill.

Every time we stay in Barolo we have dinner at the Osteria del Vignaiolo. It is always a fantastic Piedmontese dining experience. Authentic food, creatively cooked to perfection. Wide selection of very good wines at a decent price. Great atmosphere. Booking is recommended. We had: Amuse-bouche: Insalata Russa con Coppa di Parma Antipasti: Vitello tonnato; Insalata di carne cruda; Cappesante... More

Since many years we visited the Vignaiolo on several occasions. Menus are good and sharply priced. Good winelist. The only small side remark is that to our opinion there isn't a lot of variation in these menus.

Great place, great food! Small restaurant that takes care with each and every dish. We were here during a truffle festival nearby and the waitress added a huge amount of truffles to my pasta. A much smaller amount would have tasted equally good and the cost of the truffles for 3 was well over $100. The food itself was wonderful.

We had been here a few years ago and loved it- and it is still just as great. Very nice and helpful staff. Every dish was delicious, including the gnocchi, pasta, meat and dessert, just like your Italian grandma would have made it (if you have one...) . A real gem!

After a shaky start, the blond behind the counter was quite brusk, we had an absolutely delicious dinner enhanced by a friendly and expert waitstaff. The placed was packed so make sure you make reservations. Closed Tuesdays & Thursdays.

We went to this restaurant given the good reviews in TripAdvisor and as it appeared in the slow food guide (but that should certainly be reviewed). I cant remember of a time where I have been as poorly treated as here - and looking back should just had simply left. The three servers that attended our table were not only... More

Stopped there our first day in Piedmont but the restaurant was full for lunch. Made a reservation for the next day and did not regret it. The restaurant is set on a small hilltop, in the hamlet of Santa Maria, among the vineyards, with outside dining when the wether permits it . The food is excellent, and generously served, with... This is an amazing value for money deal. Speed of service, quality of food and wine list are difficult to match at these prices anywhere in the world. Do not expect warm homely Italian ambiance or abundant smiles from the staff and you will depart even more satisfied.

The food was nice, the place is small and very comfortable. Looks like a tipical Italian but it's that with a special modern food. The price is very fair and there are some options of good wine and good prices.
