We thought we would try it out rather than eat at the bar as it was next to our hotel. There is a good selection of food and everybody in our party was satisfied with their choices. The server was friendly and helpful. The apple pie which is done cinnamon bun style is incredible and by itself worth a trip... More

Longview, surprisingly, has had a good reputation for good restaurants over the years, and this one is no exception. We stopped in for lunch and were pleased by the nice decor, great food and service. We both had salads with our meals, and these were exceptional - full of different greens, some salsa and tasty house dressing. The fish burger... More

Eight of us went here after hiking on Canada Day. The food was great, ambience was great and it was just a lovely experience. A big shout out to our server, Donna, who was attentive and accommodating. I will recommend this place to friends and I will return.

Stopped here for a late afternoon snack and split the fish and chips, had coffee and chocolate caramel cake dessert. Big meal portions and the cook was kind enough to split the meal into two plates instead of just giving an extra plate on the side. The food was really good, enjoyed the thinly sliced fries with dill, delicious smooth... More

We have wanted to drop into the Haywire Cafe several times while passing through Longview, but never had the chance, until now. A great little eating place with a pleasing decor, the meals are all made with loving care from scratch. From main course to dessert, the selection was tasty and priced so it won't break the bank. The menu... More

Stopped here for lunch on our way through on a wet and cold Saturday. The owner, who was also our server, was very friendly and said they had only been open for two weeks. As I said the menu at the time was limited but there was enough variety for us to choose from. I chose the hamburger and enjoyed... More

We stopped in on our way to Montana. Great little place - nice atmosphere and the food was amazing! My husband had the beef in a trough (roast beef sandwich) and said it was the best he's ever tasted. The ribs with sweet potato fries were also excellent. Everything is made fresh. Can't wait to come back!

This little place has a wonderful new look..quiet, taseful interior (with clean washrooms!), great art work and a casual outdooor patio to allow for the famous views of which Longview is famous. We liked it so much the first time, we went back a second time. I think many people see this charming place as simply a coffee shop, which... More
