Really nice place to have lunch with amazing views. We had the kaiserschmarrn and jaeger omelette which were super. We will go back later this week 👌

Good food, good service, right size portions and the view is amazing. We ordered the Hirsch Ragout (Deer goulash) and were not disappointed. It's a hidden gem and the drive there may be daunting for some-but it should not be. I would return at a...heartbeat.More

Dear Herbert, we are happy that you enjoyed your stay at our restaurant! Thank you very much for your review! Best wishes from Lofer, the Family Faistauer

We drove up to the restaurant by accident and it was the best thing to happen. The restaurant is kind of basic with furniture but the food and the setting is one of the best. They only have a few tables outside but it is...worth waiting. The server was very kind. It is not a fancy restaurant but rustic and cozy. If you wanna have a real Austrian feeling, go there!!!! We would always come back.More

This is a good short bike ride or hike from Lofer with about 370 ft. of climb. Once there the milk is fresh, the food is filling, and the views are wonderful.

This is somewhere you have to make the effort to visit, high in the mountain looking over Lofer. The food is to die for and the views are breathtaking . A beautiful walk, a pleasant cycle ride or a lazy car trip.

This lovely little guest house and restaurant can be found off the road up to Lofer Alm from the bottom of the gondolas. We quite often stop for a drink on summer hikes or go for dinner. Home made kartoffelsalat or Kaiserschmarren should be on...your order. Really nice hosts and authentic Austrian no-nonsense dishes at very reasonable prices.More

A lovely place to go and eat Austrian Food. With beautiful views over the mountains and valleys. No trip to Lofer is complete without lunch here. Try the apricot pancakes which are freshly made and are so wonderful.

This is perhaps one of the best places for real traditional home made mountain cabin food what the local farmers and forresters would eat during their working adventures in the mountain woods. Very simple, rustic, delicious, authentic, genuine and nutricious. Lots of calories but after...a good day of walking, hiking or climbing this is a must to recover quickly. The owners do the cooking and serve the food themselves. They only have a few tables inside and wise to make a reservation as they also host many local guests or from their own guest appartments. The place is located almost in the middle of nowhere. But easy access by car or when passing by by foot or mountainbike. The prices are low and they are such nice people. I like this place a lot and I highly recommend it. They deserve your visit. The menu is small and simple. No long wine lists or so. Please keep that in mind. Just like the most people only speak German and no English.More
