Judging by its universally positive reviews I am not the only one who has inadvertently caused a problem for Lin's Cafe. They have been forced to move to larger premises! I discovered this in mid-July when I paid it a visit and found it closed. My tuk-tuk driver asked around and discovered they had recently closed and were in the... More

I was there several tunes during my 3 months staying in Savannakhet. It's really good place. I think there's biggest rations in whole city and the prize is only like $4 per food. I'd recommend some creamy spaghetti ;)

Have been here many many times before. Good menu that is almost always available. Lots of nice vegetarian options. The green curry is especially tasty. Small selection of cakes and bakery items. Expect a meal with soft drink to be about B180 or so. Easy to spend the whole day here as anyone visiting Savanakhet seems to wander through to... More

Seems like everyone in town knows where this place is. The menu is simple and fantastic. The staff is really welcoming and as were the people I met here. It seems set up for travelers to meet and have a chat. Some neat maps and art on the walls as well.

Lovely little cafe in a historic building, nice decor and lots of fans. I had fried eggs with baguette, butter and jam (K15,000) hot tea (K5,000) and banana shake (K12,000), tea came in a pretty pot rather than just a cup, Shake was really good as we're the eggs and crumbly baguette. My husband had the Egg Set, (K30,000) for... More
