Decent food but huge misunderstanding with the service led to a significantly higher price than what we thought we agreed on. Three people sharing three small pieces of mozzarella, a starter-sized plate of tartare, three bites of fried eggplant and some slices of roastbeef with cheese. All that (or only that, depending or your POV) for 750,-. Not only was... More

The restaurant is close to what you experience when you visit a restaurant in Italy. The food is simple but very tasty. I had the 12 dishes menu and all of them tasted very good. The wins both white and red were all full-bodied especially the Zonate Ripasso was impressive. I will indeed pay a visit to this restaurant in... More

We took the 9 course dinner that included many delicacies from the Italian kitchen. The variation and amount of food was well balanced. The staff was partly Italian so it gave a very genuine impression. Toto, the chef, served some of the dishes and had humour. On the downside it seemed that they where under staffed. We had to insist... More

We really love Italian food, and we found the place to declare this love. To make relatively simple and inexpensive raw material taste so intense and complex is the art and soul of Italian cuisine. We were seated at the table next to the open kitchen, and we came to enjoy the lively atmosphere and professional advice from the chefs.... More

This Italian has it all: excellent Piemonte-styled food, broad but mostly affordable wine list and very good service. We have been here 7-8 times and it's always a top experience. Strongly recommend you to go for the set menue (4-5 dishes) and the wine pairing package - excellent and plenty of very tasty food and top wines served by nice,... More

We took 14 people, including 4 children ranging from age 4 to 10, to Famo 51 and had delicious food and excellent service. The food was amazing, from a variety of antipastos, to pastas, to main courses. The restaurant wasn't overcrowded; the staff was attentive; and the wine was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Came here on the recommendation of a friend but it didn't live up to expectation. Our waitress was quite inexperienced so couldn't really explain the elements of the tasting menu fully but we opted for this as it sounded interesting and we assumed we'd get the best of what was fresh and in season. It was distinctly average. On the... More

Staying in Frederiksberg

Neighborhood Profile
Frederiksberg
Located between Noerrebro and Vesterbro you’ll find Frederiksberg, which is actually a municipality in itself but completely surrounded by Copenhagen. Here there are several fine theaters, from the experimental to the great Det Ny Teater (The New Theater) which specializes in transcribing the great London and New York musicals into Danish, and has done so for several years with huge success. In Frederiksberg you’ll find Denmark’s most beautiful (and expensive) city villas. These 4-5 square miles form the Beverly Hills of Copenhagen. Here you’ll also find Frederiksberg Have (Garden) which sports huge outdoor concerts, from classical to electronic dance music. To top it off, dining options range from cozy family restaurants to some of the area’s most trendy cafés.
