A lovely buzzy neighbourhood cafe - although we can't work out how it took them 45 minutes to serve a few bits of toast, jam and yoghurt - and a soft boiled egg... Perhaps it's too early in our visit to have embraced the hygge way-of-life.

A good little restaurant, with excellent food, service and no smokers!! Happily recommended for a pleasant meal/drink in an interesting little street, just a bit out of the way.

Was here 3 years ago and had a great breakfast. Now 3 years later we're on a trip to celebrate our parents 40-year wedding anniversary and we really wanted to bring them here. Place full as usual. We explain we are 6 ppl and want to sit together. Despite it being obvious that there were several parties on the move... More

I came to Copenhagen on a food adventure and Granola was my very first meal. It did not disappoint--and I had very high expectations. The neighborhood is so charming, lots of people just hanging out outside of the restaurants/bars, and small walking streets that felt cozy. I had the fish of the day and I honestly don't even know what... More

A very attractive diner/bar. Done out in muted between the wars/mid-twentieth century slightly industrial style, this is one of the best looking places you might find yourself for a quiet drink one evening - just checkout those lovely light fittings. They market themselves as a milkshake bar but, I can confirm, they do a very refreshing Dark and Stormy cocktail... More

This was a very busy spot which is usually a sign of good food. We had a great breakfast for a reasonable price. The only complaint is the portion sizes were small for the pancakes and french toast. I would have ordered double portions for our teenage son if we had known.

This place is very busy and we had to wait a few minutes for a table - but it was wort it! Really special atmosphere and nice staff. The food was delicious even though we had to wait about 30 minutes for it (we had a simple avocado toast with egg). The best thing was the iced coffee. One of... More

Delicious coffee, the best one I tried during my trip to Copenhagen. Prices are a bit higher than others but it was worth it!

Although best known for its brunch, I recommend visiting in the afternoon for a drink outside in the sun. Great dinner servings as well and great service

We were staying in the area and noticed the people queueing up to get into this restaurant. Always a good sign, we added ourt name to the waiting list and after 10 minutes managed to get a table. The wait was well worth it is as the food was excellent and arrived quickly. I had the big breakfast, which for... More

Staying in Frederiksberg

Neighborhood Profile
Located between Noerrebro and Vesterbro you’ll find Frederiksberg, which is actually a municipality in itself but completely surrounded by Copenhagen. Here there are several fine theaters, from the experimental to the great Det Ny Teater (The New Theater) which specializes in transcribing the great London and New York musicals into Danish, and has done so for several years with huge success. In Frederiksberg you’ll find Denmark’s most beautiful (and expensive) city villas. These 4-5 square miles form the Beverly Hills of Copenhagen. Here you’ll also find Frederiksberg Have (Garden) which sports huge outdoor concerts, from classical to electronic dance music. To top it off, dining options range from cozy family restaurants to some of the area’s most trendy cafés.
