Looking for a tea room on our day out around the peak district researched on trip advisor not many about which is a shame. Ended up here as it was lunch time when we arrived ok but nothing special.

A very cute traditional tea room. A good selection of favourites and friendly staff. Amazing roast potatoes - yummy chutney. Fab desserts - especially the White chocolate and cranberry tiffin. Would definitely recommend. Good homely feel.

A smart tea room with seats inside, in the verandah and up in the garden. Resisted the strong temptation posed by the cakes but enjoyed the biggest and tastiest, if not the cheapest, toasted-teacake-and-coffee snack. The blackboard also mentioned something like "wife connection" but I...More

Visited recently with my family. Superb service, great range of food and genuinely seemed to care that our children also had a great experience. We will be returning.
