After a long walk in the peak district, the food at this pub makes it all worth while. The sunday roast is fantastic, with giant yorkshire puddings and a fine cut of meat. The only improvement could be more gravy but we were provided with...More

Have been in here lots of times after long walks, and always had a nice meal. I have a small appetite and didn't fancy a huge meal and chips so ordered the seafood platter which is a starter. It was huge! Three big pieces of...More

The quality of the food has recently declined, the chips were frozen including the onion rings. Everybody loves fresh chips!! they are the foundation of every pub meal, you can even buy the spuds peeled so I'm afraid you have no excuse considering the price...More

Stopped after a walk, beer was very average and so was the food. Wasn't impressed and using the factor of it being a honey pot site.

lovely beer garden and great choice of ales. Nice place for a drink after a hard day's hiking. The food looked good, although didn't eat here.

Good dog friendly pub. We sat in the large sunny beer garden and enjoyed the Lasagne and the Ham and eggs. Friendly and fast service. This was a great way to end the day with a pint and a meal after walking up Mam Tor....More

We were staying nearby and decided to eat at the ramblers. We have been before and really enjoyed it and tonight was no different. There were 4 of us and it was busy but the food came quickly. We shared 2 portions of the olives,...More
