Booked The Rambler as an overnight stop for a couple of days walking in the hills. Having read mixed reviews I was a bit apprehensive but shouldn't have been. On arrival the staff were friendly and helpful. The triple room was clean and the beds comfortable. The ensuite was also clean and the hot water was ...hot ...with no problem... More

Ate here once whilst staying in Edale and thought it was a nice local pub, I had lasagne and it was great, fresh home cooked I would definitely have it again. We ate early evening, it was quite quiet so service was good. They have a lot of tables inside and out so great location especially on a nice sunny... More

A decent range of beers and pleasant food. The pub is nice and handy for the train station after a walk on Kinder Scour. Lovely garden in the Setember sun!

Beautiful drive through the countryside astonishing views. A great pub very welcoming with friendly helpful staff. Food was fantastic full of flavour and large portions couldn't finish my sticky toffee pudding. Overall great pub and good value for money.

Called in briefly for a drink. This is a warm and friendly pub frequented by the hiking community. It specialises in real ale.

A great selection of food. Real ale professionally served. The table staff were very friendly and capable. A massive beer garden with views if you get the weather. Great location.

Good pub grub. Delivered rapidly for hungry ramblers. Friendly and efficient staff and service. Selection of specials. Large garden. Very similar menu to The Nags Head but delivered better on the days we visited (yes we went more than once).
