Ignore the tourist environment. The food, presentation and service is phenomenal. Sven is an excellent waiter that knows his wines. Enjoy the view with the food, outside if weather permits. Hands down, best tourist restaurant in 20 countries.

This is the only place to eat if you're visiting here, but it is worth it anyway. The view is phenomenal, the wine selections are OK. The service was very nice. Lots of choices and reasonable prices considering the locale.

I am catching up on reviews and had to make sure I made mention of Two Oceans. It's a beautiful restaurant and probably a must go destination for seafood lovers. Since I happen not to like seafood, but was wowed by the wine selection and some fantastic vegetarian options. I've never like eggplant but tried and fell in love with... More

I went to Cape Point today and my driver booked lunch reservations for me and my family today at Two Ocean's Restaurant. The restaurant has a cliff side view of the Atlantic Ocean. The view is great but the that's about where the good stuff ends. Thee were these black birds were everywhere and they were awful!! The birds were... More

Excellent gourmet cuisine! The service is quick, the dishes are delicious and the prices are medium range, considering also the amazing location. We tried the line fish, and the calamari and they were really good. The dessert 'chocolate garden' is simply amazing.

My husband and I had a lovely meal at the Two Oceans restaurant whilst on a tour of Cape Point. It was unfortunate that whilst we were there they were refurbishing the deck so we had to sit inside. ( there were some tables outside for the fast food place next door and they were getting dive bombed by the... More

For the long drive back to Cape Town I was trying to figure out how to explain our experience. So here goes... So if you're taking the long drive out to the Cape Peninsula you're probably heading for this point and this restaurant. First off you have to pay a park fee for entrance, and now the Parks department charges... More

Three years ago, my wife and I ate here at the recommendation of our tour guide. I always knew, if we had the chance, that we'd love to get a second chance. That chance was presented to us, and I ordered a meal consisting of a variety of shellfish. As a New Englander, we take a certain pride in our... More

The food was amazing both in taste and presentation. The view is spectacular so if the weather is nice you'll want to sit outside on the patio it beware. The birds know everything on the menu so don't turn your back. We had a large party and the quality of lunch and the friendly staff was wonderfully unexpected.

My driver took me here as a pit stop during our self guided tour of cape point park and I must say it was an incredible moment to rest, eat, and admire the literal meeting of the two oceans! Ocean Basket has nothing on this place! Love, love, love!

The Two Oceans Restaurant, opened its doors in December 1995, and is an integral part of the development at Cape Point, which is now part of the newly proclaimed Good Hope Section of the Table Mountain National Park. There is much here for visitors: from excellent dining and browsing through the curio shop, to witnessing the crashing waves where two oceans do battle near the tip of Africa. Set into the cliffs high above the south-western most tip of the Cape Peninsula, the Two Oceans Restaurant has a spectacular view over False Bay and comfortably seats some 350 guests. The innovative design of the restaurant ensures that all guests are able to enjoy the stunning views of this unique location – a view that is unrivalled and world renowned.Of course, you can also enjoy some of the Western Cape’s most magnificent wines when you dine at the Two Oceans Restaurant. The restaurants extensive outdoor deck presents plenty of opportunity for an incredible breakfast as well, or to catch some sun before taking the Flying Dutchman funicular up to the lighthouse, saving your energy for a walk down to one of the many beaches in the reserve. Our team of chefs meticulously prepare the comprehensive menu. The restaurant’s elegant fare is served in a relaxed manner, and can be enjoyed on our deck, or in the restaurant itself. Fresh seafood and sushi are the specialties, especially our world famous Two Oceans Restaurant Seafood Platter. We also cater for vegetarians, meat & salad lovers, and the younger ones.
