Went there for breakfast on a Sunday morning cycle. Was struck by two things. Firstly it was quiet. Apparently the tourists pour in for lunch , which means breakfast is a great time to go, and secondly, my eggs Benedict was superb. I was expecting to be disappointed as most tourist restaurants food is poor as they rely on the... More

We got a table with a fab view and were quickly tended to by Lestina. Our table dined on the mussels, prawn and avocado and the shrimp tempura starter size. All were pleased with our choices and service.

We had a booked lunch for a group of 25 people. The service was good despite being busy, almost as good as the views of the Cape. However, we had the duck which was virtually raw. This detracted from what could have been an excellent experience.

Nice restaurant, we had the seafood platter for two. Really enjoyed the food once it arrived, the restaurant was busy and then the till system went down which seemed to throw the place into chaos. Initially we were told that we could not order dessert because they could not enter it through the computer system as it had crashed. I... More

Fine dining restaurant with excellent food, wines, service and location. Decent pricing, no waiting lines, no reservations ( crazy in Cape!). I can not remember to find this sort of eateries in points of interests in Europe, Asia or Americas. Only food traps places.

Stanley was our waitron whilst we admired one of the best views in the Cape. We sat at the small raised section of the outside deck. Service was swift, faultless and considerate - considering that Stanley served us lunch at 4pm! The breadboard appeared immediately after we'd ordered our rock shandies. Plain as well as anchovy butter, my favorite, accompanied... More

Had a light breakfast here. Expect fine dining cuisine, where you pay an arm and a leg. Food was okay. Can't get a breakfast wrong really. I would rather suggest lunch though as there are more options.

We visited around 2pm to find all the outdoors seats filled, and were ushered to seat indoors. The food may seem expensive, but they tasted really good beyond our expectations! The baked camembert is really outstanding as a starter. A reservation may be a good idea if you are planning to have lunch there during the peak hours.

We were on a "pensioners outing" to Cape Point and for eats it is either the snack bar or the Two Oceans. We chose the latter as the snack bar was all sandwiches and rolls which Jill cannot have. And we did not think about a picnic, which some of our party did. The first thing to say is that... More

It's at a special, unique place and has no competition on Cape Point. This restaurant has the best view and deco, fantastic. Unfortunately the quality of the food and level of service leave a bitter taste. We had early breakfast here as we wanted to be part of the first people to go up. It seems like the crew was... More

The Two Oceans Restaurant, opened its doors in December 1995, and is an integral part of the development at Cape Point, which is now part of the newly proclaimed Good Hope Section of the Table Mountain National Park. There is much here for visitors: from excellent dining and browsing through the curio shop, to witnessing the crashing waves where two oceans do battle near the tip of Africa. Set into the cliffs high above the south-western most tip of the Cape Peninsula, the Two Oceans Restaurant has a spectacular view over False Bay and comfortably seats some 350 guests. The innovative design of the restaurant ensures that all guests are able to enjoy the stunning views of this unique location – a view that is unrivalled and world renowned.Of course, you can also enjoy some of the Western Cape’s most magnificent wines when you dine at the Two Oceans Restaurant. The restaurants extensive outdoor deck presents plenty of opportunity for an incredible breakfast as well, or to catch some sun before taking the Flying Dutchman funicular up to the lighthouse, saving your energy for a walk down to one of the many beaches in the reserve. Our team of chefs meticulously prepare the comprehensive menu. The restaurant’s elegant fare is served in a relaxed manner, and can be enjoyed on our deck, or in the restaurant itself. Fresh seafood and sushi are the specialties, especially our world famous Two Oceans Restaurant Seafood Platter. We also cater for vegetarians, meat & salad lovers, and the younger ones.
