In all honesty I wasn't expecting too much from here with it being a tourist spot and the only option for lunch in the area - I was proved wrong. We had a table outside with beautiful views, food was delicious and our waiter, Stanley, was excellent. It was very busy but we didn't have to wait long at all... More

Frankly, I was somewhat suspect when my traveling companion raved about the food he had been served at a previous visit to Two Oceans Restaurant. Really, how good could food be at a venue set in a national park tourist destination at the end of the continent? After all, they have a captive audience, and there is really no need... More

Spectacular view and food to match, served by our wonderful waiter, Stanley. The line fish (hale) was particularly good.

Lunch at this tourist restaurant is definitely an experience. Three courses and each was a vision of creativity...kudos to the chef! The starter of seared tuna simply melted in the mouth; entrée of hake was grilled to perfection and served on a small bed of roasted potatoes with a delightful cream sauce. Dessert was caramel ice cream....no need to say... More

We were in a small group visiting Cape Point. Our guide had booked a table for us before we went to the top to look at the old lighthouse. This was a very good idea as by the time we returned the restaurant was very busy. The Two Oceans Restaurant sits on the edge of the Cape with expansive views... More

The Two Oceans Restaurant, opened its doors in December 1995, and is an integral part of the development at Cape Point, which is now part of the newly proclaimed Good Hope Section of the Table Mountain National Park. There is much here for visitors: from excellent dining and browsing through the curio shop, to witnessing the crashing waves where two oceans do battle near the tip of Africa. Set into the cliffs high above the south-western most tip of the Cape Peninsula, the Two Oceans Restaurant has a spectacular view over False Bay and comfortably seats some 350 guests. The innovative design of the restaurant ensures that all guests are able to enjoy the stunning views of this unique location – a view that is unrivalled and world renowned.Of course, you can also enjoy some of the Western Cape’s most magnificent wines when you dine at the Two Oceans Restaurant. The restaurants extensive outdoor deck presents plenty of opportunity for an incredible breakfast as well, or to catch some sun before taking the Flying Dutchman funicular up to the lighthouse, saving your energy for a walk down to one of the many beaches in the reserve. Our team of chefs meticulously prepare the comprehensive menu. The restaurant’s elegant fare is served in a relaxed manner, and can be enjoyed on our deck, or in the restaurant itself. Fresh seafood and sushi are the specialties, especially our world famous Two Oceans Restaurant Seafood Platter. We also cater for vegetarians, meat & salad lovers, and the younger ones.
