Consistently of a very good quality, their fruit tarts and fruit flan are really yummy. The lady owner is also very pleasant and helpful. Her French(?) European hubby is the pastry chef.

Great shop with lovely cakes, but also really nice pies and pasties. The owners are very pleasant and welcoming.

We've been buying flans from Martineaus for years and years and we've never been disappointed. My favourites are the strawberry custard and the raspberry almond flans. They are always flawless.

This friendly ,must visit coffee/cake shop is a must for visits to the Windsor Cinema -its the perfect place for a light lunch before the show (except on Sundays).Their cakes are legendary as are their pastries , both sweet and savoury. They also make to order excellent sandwiches. The coffee whilst not the best in town is certainly more than... More

Christian creates the most amazing cakes from croquembouche to triple chocolate mousse gateau. Incredible decorative sugar creations. A sure way to make a celebration memorable

Day of contrasts. Picked up my snazzy new (pre-loved) Audi A3 cabriolet. Red, folks. And it drives rather neat I have to say. So far. Then off to meet my always-on-time sister to see sexy Fiennes in the Grand Budapest Hotel, but who (my sister), for the first time ever, was late because of her own car troubles. And even... More

I have lived in Perth for 10 years and have only discovered Martineaus last year. Imagine how much I missed out on the lovely pasteries, crepes and most importantly the warm service and charming smiles of Christine, Sasha and everyone else in this unpretentious, family owned and run cafe. I used to have French classes every Saturday at Alliance Francaise... More

Come for Martineaus' famous homemade pies, quiches, croissants, fruit tarts, eclairs and other traditional French patisserie products, and enjoy the great coffee. The service is prompt and excellent. Every table has the personal and very French touch of a small vase with a lovely arrangement of fresh flowers. Food recommendation: the quiches, pies and other savouries are great. The croissants...
