Owner not present wen I got there, so no explenations, no English at all. Service slow due to a lot of takeouts. Portions so small you need at least two dishes, therefore quite expensive. Place looked quite run down and opened late. Taste was good,...all together not worth the hipe.More
Please if you are in Ende you NEED to eat here. Don’t let the decor and building put you off, this guy knows his food! He is a great host and explains the menu to you in detail and cares so much about the food...he is making and your experience. The food was so delicious! We both had the Mie Ayam (home made tasty noodles) and we even ordered another portion because it was that GOOD! — very accommodating for vegetarians as I am one myself though my partner is not. My partner also ordered the Empal (beef brisket) and loved that as well. He made us feel very welcomed and even tailor selected yummy drinks for both of us. His family is also super lovely. Even down to his ice cubes and the type of water he buys, this man cares so much. YOU MUST EAT HERE!!! So happy we listened to the reviews online. The only thing is I think it might open at 7pm and not at 6:30pm which is what it says on google maps but we literally waited outside for it to open and it was so worth it! The prices were very reasonable and well cheap for great quality. Also the spicy sauce is to die for if you like spice. Such a pleasant experience (:More

The owner and chief is so lovely, he explains every single item on the menu, where it’s from and how it’s prepared. The taste is incredible, no...MSG, self made noodles and so much more! I had a great soto soup, and my partner had a mie goring, so things were pretty classic in terms of...Indonesian food. These two items were fine. I had ayam goreng and it was delicious. Owner is very kind person, explains everything on the menu and you can tell he takes pride in his cooking. Highly recommended.
For real! Not kidding. Limited menu, but cooked to perfection. Fried chicken was tender, juicy and so flavorful. Chicken noodles were so awesome. We would have eaten here every day if we had stayed longer in Ende. You will not be sorry

The manager of the restaurant explains to you the simple menu really well, so you get an understanding of what goes on in the kitchen, and then leta you choose. It is a limited menu, but the food is so good I wouldn’t change a...thing about it. Sari Rasa is a great way to learn about Indonesian (Javanese) warung food. Very simple menu of local favorites made with care from local ingredients and no MSG. The restaurant is a simple local venue with only a couple of tables inside. It's not open all day, we have visited for dinner. You can choose from like 5 meals (all with meat) and some drinks. The owner took the time to explain to...us both the dishes, ingredients and preparation. It was very welcome a change towards what you experience elsewhere around Flores. We went for a chicken noodle soup and two beef dishes. All of them have been made fast and were really delicious in combination with white and yellow coconut rice. The price has been more than fair too. Lots of locals joined us. We can highly recommend this place if you visit Ende.More
