This resturant in town is among the only "western" resturants you can find in Chachapoyas. Food tastes ok, sometimes nicer than other times. I would rate the food as a 4/5, but the portions are just so small. I normally have to order 3 dishes, and I am still not full by then. It is nice as a coffeshop to... More

I love this place. The atmosphere is so cozy and the deserts are delicious. What's best about this place is that you're making the world a better place by eating here as the owner established fair trade relationships with producer communities providing the coffee, sugar and ingredients. That makes the taste even better.

This is a lovely place to get something delicious to eat, ask for local advice and browse through the shop at the back full of interesting goodies. Lovely friendly staff! Particularly recommend the home-made apple pie with ice-cream!

A welcoming cafe to take a break and relax before your next Chachapoyan adventure! Check out the cute little store behind for some local handicrafts.

The atmosphere was pleasant. The food could have been more flavorful, but was enjoyable. It seemed a bit understaffed, but there were interesting things to look at while we waited.

This is the right place to relax, have a delicious organic coffee and some awesome organic food (also plenty of vegetarian options) served by super friendly staff. They also sell beautiful crafts and products made in the area supporting the local communities. So save some money to get some unique souveniers.

This café is the perfect place for breakfast, lunch, a snack or just for a coffee. The staff is friendly and ready to help you. You can also try one of the local beers. Definately a place worth a visit during your stay in Chachapoyas.

Description
Welcome to Café Fusiones!... a place that initially emerged as an idea in November 2008, we wanted to create a space in which people enjoy and encounter the flavour, aroma, beauty and quality of the organic products which are offered in our region – Amazonas. In April 2009, we opened our doors in order to offer you an extensive menu with a fusion of flavours based on regional organic products, following the principles of ‘slow food’ (as opposed to fast food), guaranteeing good, fair food, with tasty ingredients, produced without damaging the environment, wildlife or our own health; and always ensuring a fair and just price is paid to the producers. For this reason, we work directly with community organizations and private businesses, such as the Cooperativa Agraria Rodríguez de Mendoza with their flagship product Bio Café, the Asociación de Productores Santa Rosa who provide us with our organic natural sugar, La Chetina, with its milk based products and jams made from local fruits, the Asociación de Mujeres Artesanas de Leymebamba, with their artisan textiles and Artesanía Huamán, with their work in wood. We sell all of their products in our Fair Trade shop. In café Fusiones we support and promote fair trade and in addition to buying our region´s organic food products we also take account of the fine work of local carpenters, potters, weaver and other artisans, because we trust and value their work and we are proud to show the art that they have created with their hands.
