Ate here 3 times! Had the Cuy, pollo asado, and pollo arroz y papata. All served hot and tasty w/ friendly service. Fairly easy to find = head south on road that is western edge of center of town plaza. Look on the left/east side of side of that western edge street (that runs N/S), on the first block south... I ate a good $2 set lunch here. I was a bit turned off by the service, since no one greeted me when I came in or offered to tell me what the system is (you pick up your pre-made salad and drink at the back, and a server brings you your soup and main dish). But the food was... More

We loved this place! Ate here every day, sometimes twice a day, once we discovered the menu del dia. Don't order off the regular menu - if you do, you'll wait an hour for your food, since everyone else is getting the set menu. The problem is that its not posted anywhere, but we figured it out as we waited... More

Some of these reviews are really unfair. I've been living in Chachas for 7 months and I love eating at this place. Anyone who says it's dirty or that the service is rude must be really high-maintenance or too first-world. I have nothing but pleasant interactions with the staff. The food is healthy and fresh. For menu, you can get... More

We were happy that we could find a vegetarian restaurant in this beautiful city but not for long. It is a big place with a lot of options in the menu. It has an open kitchen and here is where the problem starts: We were able to count at least four people, including the cooks and the owner, who tasted... More

I got a lot of recommendations for this place from various venues but was not impressed. The waitress was not happy to help us. Eventually she disappeared and sent someone else. The food was good, but not what I was hoping for from a vegetarian restaurant. 6 of us ordered a variety of dishes and it was all basically variations... More

The prices were great, the food was average. The food portions were large, but it lacked flavor. I got the soy beef stew w/ veggies, and my boyfriend ate the soup and veggies w/ rice. My stew was pretty much cilantro and broth with potatoes and soy meat. It wasn't bad, it was filling, but it wasn't great. This place... More

I've not really eaten here, other than to have a vegetable soup (4 Soles) which was tasty and batidos which were also very nice. By the looks of what other people were having, the other food looked pretty good and there is a wide range of food, both vegetable and soy based. The fruit salad (9 Soles) also looked really...
