We were brought here for dinner by a local friend who described it as the best restaurant in Zagarolo (& the best value) - she wasn’t wrong! For €18 a head you are served more delicious food than you can possibly eat, and wash it...down with a little of good quality local wine for another €5. Honestly, we are seasoned eaters and this meal nearly beat us! In addition, the service is friendly, they accommodated one of our parties gluten intolerance (gluten free) and the food was honest, simple, yet excellent Italian fare. Please, please pay a visit if you’re ever in Zagarolo... and take your fat pants with you :)More

Atmosphere was incredible. The service was great, we know very little Italian but the waitress was patient with us and seemed to balance all the tables very well. The food is fantastic and we’ve never had so much food for 18 euros before. Can not...recommend enough, everything was top notch.More

My wife and me spend weekend in Rome. We wanted to experience something else so we jumped to Zagarolo, a small medival town, 35 minutes by train (2.60 Euro). The town is authentic Italian, old and nice houses. We found by chance this Trattoria. The...food was fantastic - we began with rich anti pasta and then had a first course, traditional plates that I cannot remember their name but I still feel the taste. So if you ate too much Roman food, take a break and go to Zagarolo. Recommend !More

I have to admit that I was not sure about this place with its fixed menu. The quality across all the items and the low price is amazing. This is quality food and should not be missed.

I went to this restaurant with my family on a Saturday night. It was full. It's small, but very quaint - it's actually two adjoining grottoes. Very nice. The food was great, from the "antipasto" , through the various pasta and typical roman meat dishes,...finishing with some lovely homemade deserts. Great value for money. Should you ever go to Zagarolo, be sure to look this place up.More

Good food, good price value. The restaurant is small but cute. Unbottled red wine not bad and the service is very good.

You get to choose 2 main dishes and one side dish, plus coffee for 15 EUR. Very tasty, do not miss out on the starter (antipasti)
