We dropped in here for lunch when we were passing through, wow what a great little cafe with home cooked food that is just like mum made! Then we saw the scones!!! So we even started and had dessert!

We stopped here for lunch with friends and were pleasantly surprised. Lovely staff, and a good selection of food and lunch provisions. All made on site, and all tasty.

I had a cullen skink for lunch and it tasted really nice. The bread was fresh too so I would definitely recommend this place. The staff is very helpful.

Always looking for a new venue for morning coffee and a chat, my friend and I decided to drive to Stonehaven to see what was on offer. Maggie May's is a cosy eaterie, with friendly staff and 'home bakes'. We had the choice of breakfast, and / or scones with butter and jam, a variety of sponge cakes and an... More

Passing through Stonehaven yesterday we were flagging and stopped for a coffee. Maggie May's is just off the main Market Square parking lot (first 30 mins are free) and so easily accessed. The young staff were very helpful getting high chairs etc and very polite and friendly. We had coffee and shared a Victoria Sponge. Now I'm normally not impressed... More

being early for an Aberdeen appointment my colleague and myself found ourselves in this absolutely charming wee café on the main square of Stonehaven town centre. The smell of newly baked scones gripped your heart as we entered. Excellent coffee, my friend assured me the scones were to die for (I am on a diet). Well worth taking some time... More

Situated very centrally across from Market Square, I called in to this little cafe late afternoon for a cup of coffee and a cake. The kitchen was closed by then, so no hot food, which caused another couple to leave, but my attention was drawn to the revolving glass cabinet with a very impressive display of cakes and traybakes. It... More

Took my parents on a day out to Dunnator Castle and we stopped for lunch in Stonehaven. All day breakfast to die for. The soup of the day (Carrot when I went) very good quality too. Slightly quaint decoration and service was a bit slow, but no biggie and thoroughly enjoyed by all.
