We ordered 15 minutes after arriving. Nothing fancy, just traditional soup, fish (grilled or fried), grilled vegetable and pickle salad. They came after 2.5 hours...something else than what we ordered, the fried fish was raw, the grilled vegetables came after the fish had cooled and...only one out of two ordered, the pickle salad did not come at all. The food arrives a little late, but tastes very good. There are lots of Romanian traditional foods and a park with animals.
Based on good reviews we read, we decided to stop for a simple lunch, in our trip to Bicaz. Bad ideea! Food was horrible! Service: we waited 1 hour untill the food was brought to us. Personell: very friendly, but they mix orders. Restroom: nice...and clean. Playground for children: yes, nice, even though some were in direct sun. I do not recomend this place for eating, only for drinks, maybe.More
We waited one hour for our food and it was cold. The belly soup was terrible, it made me sick, the chiken strips was cold, old and verry tough.
Went there with my wife and 2 year old. The service is terrible. - When asking a weighter if they have free tables we were told to find one ourselves. - Then after finding one and getting the menu, we waited for 20+ minutes for...someone to get our order. The 2 year old was thirsty and started crying, so then we went back to our car where we had at least something to drink…. And drove to some place else.More

To be honest Medias isnt such a popular place for the tourists but on my way from Sighisoara to Sibiu it was the middle place to stop in order to have launch . I was surprised by the quality of the food and overall by...the fairness of the prices considering the big portions you get (for example one familly could easily eat 2 dishes per individual within 140-150 lei (about 30 euros). 10 out of 10 from meMore

The ambiance was very nice, as you have your own pavilion. The service was very nice. I though that the music was too loud. The food was ok, the fish was yummy and also garlic and polenta. The soup tasty and filling. The papanasi I...did not enjoy as much and also limonade was not really what I expected. I recommend you visit this place.More

Decided to ignore the bad reviews and visit this place based only on the good reviews. Big mistake. The place was crowded but eventually we sat at a table inside the restaurant (we sat ourselves, no one cares if you sit or not). We ordered...after 10 minutes and then waited 1h30min for our food to be brought. Then we waited again like 20 min for the dessert. There were 3 waiters for a full terrace and the restaurant. They were overwhelmed and responded unpolitely to people who wanted to pay or to order. Only one bathroom for ladies in a place this big. When you go to the bathroom you can see inside the kitchen as the door was open. Probably bad management, i don't know, but i won't come back, that's for sure. Lots of things to be improved.More
First, the waiting time (for the order and food) is very long. For instance we are already here for an hour and a half now and our food is not ready yet (we ordered soup, which is ciorbă in Romanian, and polenta, meaning mămăligă; we...only have on the table until now bread and cream for the soup). The personal is low, meaning that they are only a few people serving the food while the clients are too many, the space being to large to cover with only three to five available waiters. More than that, although we wait for so long, the food not only once arrives cold (as it happened to us yesterday), which would emply that the management is poor. "Bonus points", the food is also maybe too greasy (but I may agree that the polenta and the papanași are very delicious, nothing to comment there).More

Was there on e very busy day, december 30th. It was hard to find a table, but the waiters accommodated us at the second floor. Also they turned the heater high for us as it was quite cold. All the food was good, like soups...( ciorba), veal stew or the ribs. I love the dessert, papanasi, in the old transilvanian style - boiled not deep fried. If you'de like to taste some romanian traditional food in a nice decorated restaurant it's a great choice. No fancy food, but very large and delicious "mici", "ciorbe" and barbecue stuff. Good deserts also.
