A great degustation lunch with matching wines. The food was delicious and extremely well matched with the wines. The food presentation was excellent. The ambience was superb and the staff very accommodating and friendly . Well worth a visit to this lovely restaurant set amongst the foothills of the vineyards...

If you're specifically planning to visit the Collio wine region near Cormons in NE Italy and at this restaurant you won't regret it! This family run establishment was just beautiful and the dinner we booked there simply sublime. In fact it was the best meal we had in Italy. For the price of approximately 90euros a head, we both had... More

I didn't know about it till a local friend told me about it... There are actually 2 La Subidas, operated by the same owners. They're located only about 50 meters apart, on opposite sides of a narrow country road. One of them serves fine dining with fine dining prices of course, and the other serves "normal" kinds of food at... More

Started with a so-so foie gras, followed by an excellent spaghetti with asparagus. Then frog legs that were mediocre. Still a lovely restaurant with great wines but the new generation could use some supervision from the previous generation.

This place never disappoints. We regularly go there for lunch on Sundays and for Easter and always love it. The atmosphere is warm and the food is absolutely the best in the region -- both first and main courses. The prosciutto crudo ham is incredible. The restaurant is surrounded by woods and there is also horses. Lovely and highly recommended.

Our party of 8 visited this restaurant for dinner. Michelin star is well deserved but...there are few things which really bother me - no parking area (we parked on side of road), very limited or no presentation of food served, too much noise ( due to fact that a lot of people are seated in same area). Maybe I am... More

La Subida was the perfect rural setting to fulfill the tantalizing gourmand desires that Chef Batali stirred in me a few days prior. Everything looked so appealing. We ordered small dishes—appetizers, so we could try many different tastes—stuffed nasturtiums (flowers) with puree of pumpkin, tiny white pickled fish, sides of pasta with walnut gravy, and herbed grilled quail. Ah, come... More

If you have a chance to find this restaurant in northern Italy, you must try it! We were with a wine group when we had the good luck to dine here. The restaurant was closed that night but they opened it just for us. We had the most delicious appetizers outside in the courtyard. We then entered the beautiful, cozy,... More

We were here last September and yesterday we had wow effect, again. The food was great, tasting menu was great and exeptional. Moschionni Pignolo was, of course, the best choice for food pairing. Lists of deserts - prepare to order two times..:-). Thank you again

This is absolutely wonderful experience. Professional staff, wonderful food, perfect wine list and the houses to sleep in are amazing. Defenitely worth a michelin star.
