This was our first visit to The Red Lion after moving our offices nearby. We were looking for somewhere to host both clients and partners and were delighted with both the service we received and the standard of food. We will definitely be returning soon.

Have been here several times and love it so decided to hold our Wedding Reception here as it's the idyllic spot. Nothing was too much trouble and they made sure everyone had a wonderful time. I sat down with Sue several times before hand to go through everything we wanted and they got it spot on. Massive thanks to Tim,... More

Wow what can I say. Easily the best pub restaurant meal I've had in years. These establishments in which the food is fresh and beautifully cooked with genuine ingredients are so rare. Plus I was treated like a king. The staff were so friendly. It's a proper independent local with a huge range of ales, a gorgeous sunset and food... More

The staff are helpful and friendly and make you feel welcome from the start. The food is wonderful and very reasonably priced. The breakfast was... More

If everyone knows how good this place is we'd never get a table. Great food, really good service, guest ales and a warm atmosphere whilst being good value for money. Perfect.

The Red Lion at Whiteleaf is a real gem of an English country pub. It has great character, good beers and good honest, classic pub food. The rib-eye steak and the fish and chips are as good as you will find anywhere.
