Had been recommended this Italian by a local for a family birthday. Greeted warmly by restaurant staff, water on arrival, attentive service. Unfortunately we were next to a table that various suited/booted parents dropped 9 of their free-range charges with a handful of timid 'grown-ups'...whilst en route to the Club, I suspect. Food was excellent, the staff was amazing dodging these young teenagers leaving chairs untucked in the staff's wake whilst they slammed toilet doors, daring each other to run in the kitchen and generally getting under people's feet. When they did sit down, volume control was clearly not in their gifts. Thought the restaurant staff did an excellent job at trying to make our meal an enjoyable experience despite the crèche like conditions other diners had developed. Would definitely go back but perhaps on a school night when hopefully these youths are not there. The restaurant was far from a let down but the locals certainly were.More

Fabulous meal and excellent service as always

We had a lovely meal last night with an excellent bottle of chianti. I had pasta a la Pietro and my husband had pasta a la marinara and we shared a side salad. The meal was superb and the service excellent as always. This is...my favourite restaurant in this area and we visit every time we come to Hamble. I can highly recommend a visit if you like Italian food as it is exceptional.More

Excellent meals with first class service

Great prices and great food

Excellent choice for an evening meal. Really generous portion sizes, great prices and really nice feel to it. Plus a lovely walk around Hamble after, so location is great too (equally, it's right next to the car park so also easy to find). Will be...comeback for sure!More

Excellent Service and lovely staff

We booked at short notice and they were able to accommodated us despite being busy. As it was so hot we weren’t overly hungry, so ordered a salad for one and asked for 2 plates. When salad arrived they had already split it onto 2...plates. Beautifully presented and it was lovely and fresh. Would definitely eat here again. Staff were so friendly and helpful.More

Lovely visit on a Sunday evening

We visited the restaurant on Sunday evening, got greeted by very friendly and warming staff. Food arrived very efficiently and was delicious, the beef stroganoff on the specials tasted amazing. Very generous portions, couldn’t leave without dessert of course. Would definitely recommend!!!

Never got the chance

Friendly service with a cosy atmosphere :)

The service was so welcoming and friendly as soon as we walked in. It felt cosy and the atmosphere was lovely. The food was amazing and came quickly even though it was fairly busy! Would definitely recommend!

Welcoming restaurant that exceeds expectations.

We called in yesterday for an early dinner, on spec having only decided to go to Hamble at the last minute. We were warmly greeted by the staff who made us most welcome. Best pizza dough ever. Pasta cooked perfectly. Home made deserts to die...for. Wine just right. This is what a restaurant should be, relaxing and the staff (especially Annie) makes you feel valued and happy. Wonderful experience!

Spur of the moment family get together we popped in to see if they could seat 8 of us without a booking and they simply couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming! The waitress was genuinely lovely and did everything she could to make our...evening special without being in any way intrusive. The food was delicious!! ..generous portions as other reviewers have mentioned and great quality. The general ambiance is relaxed and cosy. Stunning!

My wife and I had a fantastic evening in this beautiful restaurant. I ordered the steak and it was like a party on the palate! I would go as far as to say that it’s the nicest steak that I have ever had in my...40 years and counting. The meal was faultless, the wine sumptuous and the service was outstanding. Delicious food & fantastic service!
