We ordered a meal for Valentine’s this year to enjoy at home. It was, as always, beautifully presented and tasted amazing! I would eat here every week if we had the funds too. If you want a great tasting meal, definitely get yourself a takeaway....It’s packed well to ensure it stays warm and is always super fresh.More

We were a party of 6 and a party of 3, sat on two tables 2meters apart, as unfortunate as this is due to COVID restrictions, we were still delighted to have been able to all have a meal together.. the staff were faultless and...attentive, wearing masks all night, which must be horrendous in a busy restaurant, so hands down to the team! We had starters, mains and pudding, we couldn’t not try the new Oreo& Berry cheesecake, very Autumn tasting& delicious! Lovey decor.. eg, fairy lights, flowers, curtains up in windows.. such a romantic and warm feel! It was quite busy for a Wednesday which is so good to see as we love this restaurant and will be returning on many more occasions! Thankyou La Dolce Vita xMore

Having not been out to eat for a long while, I’m so pleased we made the trip to this restaurant. The food was wonderful as were the staff and the restaurant adhered to the COVID guidelines. As someone who has been very cautious and slightly...anxious with everything going on, I felt comfortable, tables were distanced and it was lovely to see people comfortably eating out. We can’t wait to visit again.More

Me and my partner enjoyed a lovely dinner last night Wednesday 7th! We were delighted to find that there was deals throughout the week, last night was buy one get one half price on pizza/pasta:) I enjoyed the Canneloni which is definitely my favourite dish....The layout in which distancing and precautions are, we’re taking very seriously. Lovely staff, even in these difficult times ensuring that we are well looked after throughout the evening ,in masks.. and we just couldn’t fault this lovely cosy restaurant.More

I enjoyed my freshly cooked meal of brushetta then fillet steak on the evening of Sat 3rd Oct very much. The staff were welcoming, attentive and flexible. Covid measures in place included a sign in book, staff mask wearing, cutlery arriving in a tray &...a sign turning system to ensure only one in each toilet at a time. I was very surprised there was no NHS Covid-19 app QR code to check in to. I also felt anxious about these aspects: - the table layout concentrating larger groups closer together, towards the back, where the bar, kitchen & toilets are also situated, while it looked spacious towards the front. - loud, gusty singing of Happy Birthday by a group of 4 lads, encouraged by the staff, with lights down, candles etc and enthusiastically joined in with by other customers and staff, including the chef. - several tables of 4 being placed on a 1m square table. Understanding it's difficult to balance fun atmosphere with safety, I'd say this is probably one for those less at risk at the moment.More

Booked a table for Friday evening at fairly late notice. Staff were very helpful and attentive. The calamari wasn’t quite as good as I’d hoped, quite soggy but a generous portion nonetheless. I had a pizza which was really good as was my partner’s salmon...linguine. Was a bit surprised by the music when I got there, quite loud and not really restaurant music but I suspect it was just playing from a random playlist. What really put me off on the night was a table of fellow diners, one of the loudest and most obnoxious tables I’ve encountered in a restaurant. So loud another table decided to move and sit somewhere else. I do sympathise with the staff as it would be very awkward having to ask a table to be more respectful but the restaurant shouldn’t prioritise one table over another.More

Food was good and staff very friendly but very disappointing the staff were not wearing face masks after specifically asking the question when booking the table and was told that they would be. Only one in the three staff was wearing one and even she...took it off as the night wore on. Our waiter after overhearing my conversation asked if we would prefer him to wear his mask to which I replied yes so he pulled it out of his pocket and wore it most of the time at our table only. When I spoke to the young lady about it she just quoted me government guidelines stating she wasn’t obliged to wear one.More

We enjoyed the most wonderful take away meal this evening. Everything was amazing and the quality was not compromised as a take away. Would love to be able to eat in but we have young children so take away is perfect for us. Thank you...so much- highly recommend and will be back often.More
