Had a lovely welcome both visits here and will return again this holiday. Friendly informative staff, open fires, good bar. Don't need much else on a cold spring night. Xx

Definitely a locals pub. Easy atmosphere, welcoming and lively. The wine was reasonable but not spectacular, nice place to catch up with girlfriends for a simple glass of wine.

This was the start of our girls weekend away and what a lovely evening sat by the log fire eating fish and chips. As it was Fish Friday and we ordered a fish dish of the menu we were able to have a free glass of white wine. The food is simple but well done and you are not paying... More

The waitresses were charming however at no stage were we alerted to the fact there would be a long wait for food. Twice we were brought food for other tables. When my pie finally arrived it came with potatoes not the chips I had ordered and there were no vegetables. The food was reasonably good but I wouldn't recommend it... More

Refreshing to visit a establishment that does not try to be a Gastropub. The menu is small but varied to cater for most tastes. No mention of triple cooked chips or something served with a jus. I had as a main the Beef and ale pie, the wife had the poached haddock gratin. My pie was full of beef with... More

Not the location or cottage style of the Anchor Bleu but a very pleasant Victorian pub. My son had a burger - excellent- and I had liver and bacon which was perfectly cooked. The woman publican was very friendly and so were all her staff. Definitely worth a return visit.

Description
The Berkeley Arms is a great pub in the heart of Bosham. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and the local people of Bosham are always happy to include visitors into their cheerful circle. In summer, the beautiful garden in front of the pub provides sun almost until sunset. Wooden benches and fireworks of flowers overflowing the hanging baskets create a wonderful homely setting. In winter, guests of the Berkeley Arms are warmed by a roaring log fire in the bar and resturant. The interior is light and tastefully simple. Good pub food is served here, with light bite portions for the small appetite. But what makes the Berkeley Arms special is the team who genuinely cares for their guests and makes sure that everybody is happy and enjoying themselves. I can recommend the Berkeley Arms for its warm atmosphere, great food and drink and pleasant company. We are open for food and drinks 7 days a week.
