I picked this pub to meet some friends while we were on the south coast mainly on strength of TA reviews and was right to do so, on a miserable, wet day we had one of the best quality fish & chips in along time, tasty crisp batter & red hot. Place was really busy so glad we booked, spoke... More

Ate here on impulse on a very busy Thursday night prior to Goodwood Revival. Absolutely gorgeous pub, stylish, simple and quaint with excellent outdoor areas. The menu is perfect, a few starters, a few mains and a few desserts all simple well described and well priced. Had a rib eye steak which came with a great salad and chips. Partner... More

I booked a table for 9 of us for lunch this weekend, having been to this pub and sat in the lovely outside garden at the front earlier in the summer. We consisted of a dog, 4 adults and 5 children and were given a lovely table upstairs. This is a real fishermans pub (low ceilings and small little nooks... More

Cosy. Popular. Good fireplace and decent menu. Tiny terrace with view over harbour. Good mulled cider on previous winter visit.

Stopped for a drink here whilst having a wander in Bosham (cannot comment on the food) and enjoyed the fabulous view of the harbour / estuary. Quaint interior and additional outdoor seating out front. Menu looked to be a step above 'pub grub'. A detail worth noting - the houses in that area are obviously used to flooding, barriers are... Mid-week dining for two on a summer's evening... it was a bit chilly so we sat inside and enjoyed the ambiance of a busy bar. Staff were friendly and chatty, beer was good. We both ordered pie from the special board and it was fine, not amazing but pleasant and whoever complained about gravy and chips?! Small balcony is worth... More

Quite a local crowd so you can feel a bit of an outsider at first, don't worry they are a friendly crowd and after 10 mins you feel part of the gang. V wry good food with relaxed friendly service

This is a nice old pub on the quayside at Bosham. We had Sunday lunch here which was well cooked and generously proportioned but we had to wait for about half an hour because they're very busy. Good choice of ales and two ciders on tap.The lavs are rather cramped due to the age of the building. I advise people... More

We called in for lunch - extremely busy, but then it was the summer holidays. Clearly very popular, although not much competition around. The food was smashing - a really genuine ploughmans' lunch, not, as my son would say, a deconstructed cheese sandwich. The large portion of whitebait was a very good sized portion, and it was genuine whitebait, not... More
