Sunday Lunch on the 4th June was as lovely as ever - food superb, the dining room and surroundings are beautiful and the owner and staff friendly and efficient. Make sure you save room for dessert - wonderful.

I last went here 20 years ago then moved from the area. I always remembered the quality of the food the ambience and thought of it many times. Being in the area Saturday night with friends we booked to go back and so glad we...More

We were here for a wedding party. The location in the leafy Cheshire countryside is most pleasant, as is the building. The staff and service were very good, as were the drinks, nibbles and cakes.

Never let us down! A beautiful afternoon tea for my Mum's birthday. Four very happy customers. Mini carrot cake was my highlight

Firstly the location was gorgeous, the restaurant itself was stunning. Staff perfectly pleasant. The afternoon tea was very expensive, but to have been able to have the Sunday lunch for the same price was out of kilter. The main menu food looked stunning to be...More

Visited ages ago and had thought decor then a tad bizarre, with a 1970s conservatory vibe. This time- wow! Seems to have moved upmarket and very much a wedding venue feeling with bling, fabric slips on chairs and stylish touches. Food good but limited in...More

Good food and wine. Efficient, friendly staff in pleasant surroundings, but a little noisy when busy.

Each time I've been booked to go here my visit has been thwarted, usually by something dramatic, so I was thrilled to actually arrive on the doorstep for lunch. First impressions were that the car park is rather small, but once parked and inside I...More

Description
The Yellow Broom, with its delightful rural location and historic 1930s setting, is a favourite fixture on the Cheshire restaurant scene. Located in Twemlow Green near Holmes Chapel, the light-filled restaurant has a tranquil and welcoming ambience. With tiled floors, dark wooden seats and contemporary artworks by the owner's brother an artist based in Glasgow the charming interior reflects The Yellow Broom's refreshing French-with-a-Scottish-twist menu. We are a family run business focussing on simplicity. Hand made breads, butchered meats, crafted desserts all from our own kitchen using the finest ingredients. Carefully prepared and served on individual plates, in our comfortable, relaxed dining room. Delicious food - kept simple - always delivered with a smile. This is the secret of our Yellow Broom - what makes it special and individual- the restaurant it is today.
