This place was a stop on a tour and it was an unmissable part of a great day. The food is excellent, and the staff so helpful. We sat in the courtyard with tortoises at our foot and a garden of banana, lemon etc trees...that were picked to form our meals. A great memory of a great holiday!More

I thought this little restaurant was quite charming. It is family run by the looks of things and seems to form part of a home. The courtyard is gorgeous with chooks running around, lots of home made mosaic and bric n brac. It's really pretty....The food was served in an interesting room with vintage morocccan artefacts to engage you. Service was friendly The place is obviously set up for tourists; there were several quite big groups there but all seemed to be handled easily and with grace. Lunch was delicious - tagine of course, and Amlou. So delicious. Never had anything like that before! Finishing off with tea and oranges and cinnamon. There was a lot of food supplemented by the usual delicious bread. This is a good lunch place if you are visiting the National Park. It is close by.More

Don't be put off if the door isn't open when you stop by for lunch: just knock, and shazam! the gorgeous garden with trees shading your table awaits. Highlight of the meal was the unexpected couscous desert, with cinnamon and peanut-honey sauce, but everything was...delicious, carefully prepared, and nicely presented. As others have noted, the two tajines complement each other.More

This was a surprisingly good lunch stop. Had a three course lunch consisting of a Moroccan salad, two tajines [vegetable and lemon chicken] and desserts [couscous topped with the argan ‘peanut butter’ and melon]. The food was very good. It is a family run place....It is colourfully, maybe loudly, decorated. The waiter was outgoing. The core meal [maybe a group per person price] was 70 dirhams. In a hot place, a big lunch often seems a burden but the whole experience was enjoyable. The nearby national park had been disappointing with little birding [early October is too early for European migratory birds] so this place save the day.More

Delicious and cozy local place with a fantastic host, Ibrahim, who generously shares his stories about life as berber while we are supplied with all sorts of local delicacies. And eat we too sparsely, he charming and brazenly place one last portion on your plate....A tiny oasis, used by the locals.More
