Delicious pastries, cakes and snacks, lovely service and atmosphere. The very best place for breakfast in town.

It's a small but very busy place. You can enjoy fresh local sourced products and they also attend to your special requirements.

This is a bakery with a fantastic selection of local pastries, you can buy slices of different cakes or whole cakes. You can sit down and have your coffee with a slice of your favorite desert. Parking can be very difficult on the street. There...is a market attached to the bakery.More

Nice café/bakery on the main road to the core of the village. You first have to make your choice, pay upfront and wait for your number to be called. Busy times in August, it took 20 mins. Great choice of pastry and cakes. Toasted sandwiches...tasty and very big. Good coffee.More

A must do! Best bread & pastry in the whole region. Old fashioned craftmanship as it’s very best. Great wine selection in the back. Try everything, you can diet when you go home... ;)

I ordered some breads, but then was told that I could only pay with a Portuguese bank card and had to go to the bank. After retuning I had to make the order again. Took very long (30 minutes) for a sandwich and and some...pastel De nata. Although they have one counter you can not order breads and buy fruits at the same time, need to pay from two different lines. I will never go back here.More

We had 2 toasts- one with tuna, one with cheese- they were very good. Fresh squeezed orange juice. Best cake- almonds and apple... wow! Good coffee. Only no menu in English.... hard to choose... but we managed pretty well. Really worth the stop!

Wide choice of items both for a small coffee or a full breakfast/lunch, all made in house and very competent staff.

This place is a cafe that gets very busy and I mean very busy. But all the desserts are to die for you can have a coffee and a traditional dessert or like us order pieces of different cakes to take home and pick up...later. Great place to relax for an hour with your coffee.More

Great place for casual lunch or afternoon cake. Traditional selection plus some more interesting cakes. Seems chaotic but actually very efficient unless you order toasties. Choosing your cake is always hard as sooo many nice ones. The ones with sweet potato and Gila worth a...try. Duck pies and quiche also nice. Tables clear pretty quickly we never wait longMore

We were looking for a place that would serve us some sandwiches/snacks early in the evening/later afternoon and this was the perfect place. With a vast selection of breads, toasts and cakes it is a spot worth of passing by for a coffee or quick...meal. It also runs a grocery store and the decoration is just lovely.More

The cakes were awesome and sooo cheap! Really recommend this place! They have coffee, sandwiches and a little mini mart at the back with fresh produce too. The staff were really friendly and gave us good recommendations! The “caracol de Portugal” with chestnut and port...wine was the best cake in my opinion. Coming back tomorrow for sure!More

We were starved and hadn't had breakfast....so you might say we did a pretty good job of sampling the various pastries! Fresh squeezed orange juice, very helpful service and outstanding, large portion pastries. I wish I could tell you what we had or taken a...picture but things got eaten too fast. A dark chocolate slab with flecks of white was like a cross between icing and cookie dough mixed with bits of crispy white cookies inside. A slice of almond flakes and icing sugar dusting was all lemony cream inside. And the 'coconut' tart was a change from the egg custard. All were excellent! It was a hopping place and a bit of a line to 'pre pay' for your items but not too bad. Loved the ambiance!More

They open at 7:30 in the morning. I ‘m not sure if they have dairy free options but I don’t think so. Hope this will help.
